It's just that unlike with the English "skylight" which has a possible sense of lights in the sky as well as its most common use, the Japanese "天窓" specifically uses the character for window and thus doesn't work in the same way.
So if he is referring to the window, then its perfect, otherwise...

the truth lies through the misteries of google translator actually this Skylight move have no meaning in particular, it's just a name i figured was cool for it google made the rest, i actually know nothing of japanese... but kanji are really cool, i tought i would be nice to see his moves this way

since i was thinking that every chara would use a different language for his moves, i think google will help me a lot... even if we all know is truly far from perfection

If you look in the post "PF/HP: Terrace High - fanfic project" it stated the Ridgeback (if he's the one) has dark brown fur with black ears, muzzle, and paws. Who know what that changes has done when under Pete's influence.

It seems the in media res is done.

And so the griffin appears... for something so powerful to be cut by a mere mortal.... disgraceful. he will never hear the end of it from Dragon!
