Awww. My story couldn't be accepted in the contest...But I can't blame anyone. I checked my story and found out I had only 2000 words.

Patience, Obbl. There's only 8.5 hours left of today, from Rick's time zone.

That's the cue for all of you who got an accepted PM to come on out and say something. I need to know who my competition is! :P

The countdown is killing me! BTW, I'm cheering for valerio's story. It was the one I liked the most.

I'm actually less nervous today than yesterday...I guess it's the fact that there won't be any more entries...expected or not.

Does it actually say somewhere that the judging will be done today?

It's either that or I go nuts, get depressed, and never finish any fanfics ever.

Considering my submission is long, it may take a while to get a reply from the judge(s). Then again, perhaps mine is too long. Oh, well.

No stories completed before the deadline were actually rejected; length guidelines were waived. 13 contestants created a combined 174 pages of content. Good luck to all the participants!

That's essentially what happened. I was writing the story, getting so involved in the characters and what was going on, that when I checked how many words I had written, I was already over 7,000 words... and I still wasn't completed. xD
