Most important thing I've learned from D&D?
No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

I really want to know what I missed while I was away in Vermont for a day.

It's as easy as going back to the previous page.

This was sitting like 80% complete for like two weeks. Work's been a real motivation killer during that time.
Side note, think I'm getting closer to getting a decent ending to the "Forum Crashers" storyline planned.

Just saw the last few strips and SuperStar, unlike StinkyGameCobra didn't fall in a smelly trash pile.

...it took me way longer than it should have to realize what you were talking about, actually had plans to severely cut the next one to make sense with what I was telling which included cutting out the scenes with Dragon and Max's emotional breakdown, but dang it, now want to include her and no idea how!

how did you forget that thing? i'm pretty sure you either made it for me, or gave me the idea for it, as one of those 'character A with character B's colors' pics.D-Rock wrote:...it took me way longer than it should have to realize what you were talking about
not ashamed of the avatar, just predicting getting blamed for this fiasco since I've been a dragon lookalike at one point.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Congratulations Buster, your old shame is now about to be on display for everybody to see. XD

I did some looking back, made the recolor based on one of your WMGs. Been a long time.

The Legend of Spyro series established there is only a new purple Dragon once every ten generations so Spyro's mother would not be purple.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Looking at that I have to say that Dragon looks SO much like what I would imagine Spyro's mother to look like. XD
The cape comes with the promotion.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well, the current story arc started because Rocky threw a ban hammer at Star and Cobra by accident.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
To answer your question, they were banned by accident, though all of the strips are still in this thread so if you're interested you should just read them. Forumite Crashers starts here and THE BANHAMMER PROTOCOL starts here.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Ooooooh! Sto-ry! Sto-ry! Why did he ban them?

So many bad things start with someone throwing a hammer...….. !
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Okay, that's a good name, Wallace. I was thinking "GalliBan Protocol," but that's a lot better. Side note, wasn't even intending that first strip to be the beginning of this "arc" until Buster and Star chimed in.

Garbage Kitty? It's not you. I have all sorts of disorders of the mind that makes me latch onto something other people find stupid. Like for example: Cat Salad.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Well, in that case Cobra has referred to himself as "Salad Cat" on a few occasions.

Yeah well I'm referring to him as something to do with his stench.

I really do like that meme and thought it was very entertaining and got a chuckle out of it until somebody said that it looked like a Pop-Tart Cat was pooping a rainbow. That ruined it for me.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Is Rocky related to Macabre or something? He has a bone around his neck in the same style as him.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
No. When I was designing Rocky, I used Macabre as a starting point. Decided what I wanted to transfer and what I wanted to get rid of. Only thing that ended up making it to Rocky was the bone brace, as I really do like the look. Said brace is also used by my OCs, Oliver and Nikolai. Jolty has drawn Rocky with the external ribs, but I don't bother telling him, as I decided to let him do what he wanted. His works have made me wonder about reimplementing the ribs onto Rocky, but never tried.

Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
Part of me wonders why one would want a bone brace. Seems like you would have to find something dead or kill it, go through its bones and then find one that you can mold around your neck. Seems like a lot of work and kind of gross.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
I thought it looked cool. That's it.
Being of spiritual origins, Macabre, Oliver, and Nikolai can merely will it to exist.
Rocky...well, this was something I never thought about. And interesting that you question that over the gem embedded in his chest.
Anyway, think I'll get back to The Banhammer Protocol.

Oh, right, that was a thing.
It's literally there because I wanted to implement my favorite color in a cool way without going too overboard on the color palette. Not a Steven Universe or Power Rangers reference.

To be honest, I thought it was a necklace at first.
Re: Photoshopping Housepets!
For some perspective, EVERY character here was re-lined. Looks a lot better than my previous method of forcing a solid outline in Paint.NET, but SIGNIFICANTLY more tedious.
Also rain was an excuse not to mess with Grape's hair for Star's. And I legitimately couldn't think of a better joke at the end.

Mildly terrifying ... Well done, too.
