Housepets Tabletop RPG
Hey everyone,
Completely on a whim, I started building HP characters in the West End Games Open D6 RPG system.(Heretofore referred to as D6)
Now, you may be thinking: "wouldn't the Housepets universe be better represented by a system that's more free-form and narrative, like Fate or Powered by the Apocolypse?"
To which I say...... You're right, it probably would be. But I don't own those.
Also, I'm trying to learn the D6 system, and the best way to do that is to interact with the rules. Short of playing the game, character creation is the next best thing.
So, for fun, I'm posting what I've got on my Google Drive.
So far I've finished Peanut and Grape. I'll probably do King next, then we'll see. I also have some ideas for OC's and alternates that deviate from Canon slightly, but I'll mark those.
If anyone wants to read along and make suggestions on how to tweak things within the system, the rules are Free and can be found Here
I'd appreciate any input.
Enjoy!

I have no idea what I was reading in the character sheets, honestly. Well, let's hope the rulebook will be enlightening.
Though I'm super wary of making accounts to see things.

I'm not really supposed to, but I could post the PDFs in the Drive folder.

Well, wouldn't want to make you violate some term of service, even if it is free.

I've finished King and Bino.
I also have an alternate version for Bino that lets me play with some other parts of the rules, although it is non-canon.

Re: Housepets Tabletop RPG
So I kind of dropped the ball with this idea. Making these is actually a fair bit of work, and the wind kind of went out of my sails after I ran through my initial ideas, especially since I wasn't going to use them for anything.
So, on that note, and bearing in mind that I'm not making any promises right now, if I were to propose starting an online tabletop RPG set in the HP! universe, either through Skype, Hangouts, or Roll20, what level of interest would I be looking at?
I actually need some level of pressure to get myself to work on things, so let me know.
Thanks

Ok, So this isn't dead.
I'm doing some groundwork now, I'll post a new interest/pitch thread when I'm closer to ready.
This comic has A LOT of characters.
Did I miss anyone?
