-Appearance-
Light gray fur, with black legs and brown eyes. Smaller in stature, but built well. A green collar with a shamrock hanging from it. Also has a thick Scottish accent.

-Personality-
Grumpy at first sight, but once you get to know him, you find out he's actually quite considerate. He hates stereotypes, so his name and collar both drive him insane. As such, he insists that everyone call him by his last name. He enjoys being asked of advice, and takes walks, both by himself and with others.

-Other Notes-
Many of you may recognize O'Connor from my first fanfic. Well, in an attempt to come out with a thought-out character in my first attempt at roleplaying without putting too much effort into it, I just stole him.

Quick question: is it considered Godmoding to give your character unusually high luck?

God mode is taking control of an other character and making yourself all powerful while doing so...(i think)

I've heard it means being invincible, and technically, having high luck could be a form of invincibility. Just thought I'd make sure.

I think its more of a controlling issue...Lets let the pros discuss it.
but for now we already have a luck 10 character named lucky, so lets learn off him.

Luck is luck; it appears when all else seems to be lost etc. It doesn't make your character invincible, but it can make things go their way a bit more often. Not to say that it can fully compensate for another lacking stat, say, for example, your charisma there. Luck has little to do with convincing people, but you might be able to dodge a bit better with your high luck, despite your low agility.

Bottom line: use your luck when it makes sense, but don't abuse it. After all, no conflict = no fun. If you don't have a problem to deal with, you don't have a story...the whole, conflict to resolution thing, ya know?

...Your best bet is Jester (Toasty), Lucky (Kalvin), or possibly Zeppelin (if No Space decides to rejoin this) because they were living there before if you decide to have your pet already been living in Richardson Valley. Most of the other pets are new arrivals of some kind, so if you just moved in, you might have already met them in another place, lived where they lived before, etc.


*shrug* if you want to have Venison and your character to have already met, then shoot me a PM and we'll work out the details...

Some of you have been mentioning that you've picked a house location on the map; if you have, or want to add to it, just open paint, mark it up, and re-post it. I just started the map; it's up to all of us to finish it...if it can ever be finished.

Hey Jester's open for preexisting relationships. I set it up in the beginning to where he just doesn't remember people after being inside the theater for the last six thousand years.

Anyways, I tried to edit map in paint, but it wouldn't load it for some reason, so I had to work with GIMP.There I put down TJ (ToastyJester) since J was already taken. Now, since I've got lots of free time I'm gonna go over all the lines and see how it looks. If there are any problems with where I placed it please tell me.

Y'know, with the number of people just moving in, it seems like Richardson Valley is a relatively new neighborhood. I mean, it's not meant to be an obligatory comment, just an observation.

Appearance- Large and shaggy, Lucky looks almost purebred, but there are a few tell-tale signs such as the texture of his fur is a little smoother than the average wolfhound's. He's also a little small for a wolfhound, that being the other main tell of his mixed blood. He tops out at 4 foot flat, which is still a little tall for most pets. His fur color is a dark gray except the tips of his ears which are a little lighter shade. His collar has a shamrock tag on the end.

First of all, relationship doesn't necessarily mean romantic involvement, just to remind everybody. It could just be a friend, meaning yes Lucky and Jester are the two most obvious choices since they are active players who have lived in Richardson Valley for awhile. Secondly, when Blabaroy said that, he was referring to a crush he had on Eira, who has just returned apparently. Third and lastly as far as the luck conversation earlier, I wanted to ask everybody if they thought I have been playing that off well?

Hey, here's an interesting twist. I'm going to be playing a stray.

Name: Djinn (pronounced Gin)
Gender: Male
Species: Cat
Age: 14 pet years or 4 human years

Appearance: Djinn is one of few cats who is completely black. There is not a single part of his fur that is any other color, apart from his eyes which are yellow. His chest, his muzzle, his paws, all the same pitch black as the majority of his body. It's a rare occasion but it actually helps him with sneaking around. He wears absolutely nothing, not even an attempt to pass as an owned pet.

Personality: He is a little distrustful of people, having gotten close too many times to have animal control, but he doesn't shut people out entirely. He talks to people all the time and even gets a little food now and then. Most of the time though, he survives by hunting his own food which normally involves birds or mice. Sometimes he can be found digging through the dumpster at the wall. He spends most of his time trying to find his next meal or dodging animal control.

Er.... sorry. My screw up. Djinn is actually played by my sister. We share a computer and she wanted to get on. I let her on without logging myself out first, she forgot to check that she was on her own account, and voila. That's how we got into this situation. I'll be more careful in the future.
