Besides that consideration, what is there for me to say? No one's talking to either Honey or Vanilla and this isn't their party, and it looks like the game they were about to play is being put on hold.

What can I do, have Honey say she loves to sing and wants to participate with the musicians? (That's not sarcastic, I really want to know.) That seems a little convenient....



I can't have the two of them talk to each other--they already did that, and besides I want more interaction than just my own characters interacting with each other.

That could work, it could seem ore like a fun time then I guess. And isn't vanilla yuckified by romance and what not? You can elaborate her thoughts I guess.

Yeah, Vanilla looks down her nose on it, but elaborating her thoughts isn't interaction. And Honey participating in singing seems a little convenient to me.... Besides, it might embarrass Vanilla, and Honey doesn't want to do that.

I don't think anyone was expecting any of the shipping--it comes to you all so naturally, but not to me.

And I agree--so far this hasn't been much of a party. This is twice Honey's been excited about something and being set up for disappointment and an "I told you so" from Vanilla....

I can't foresee any way Vanilla will have fun at present, and even if she did, Honey isn't the type to say "I told you so." That would ruin Vanilla's good mood, if she had a good mood.

Vanilla hasn't yet met ANYONE she considers worthy of being her friend, and so she's lonely--and she's got two lunatics who've expressed an interest in her, which is the last thing in the world she wants, and both of them are at this party AND one of them is the host (and the other's about to perform).

Put yourself in her place--could you see ANY way of squeezing fun out of such a situation?

Yes actually, I do. some of the people I know are annoyingly happy...

Well, from Vanilla's perspective they ARE lunatics.

And Vanilla is against "faking" feelings, and would probably stink at it anyway. She sees no reason to smile. There's no feeling behind it, and a fake smile can be spotted a mile off. I'm speaking from experience.

Well, I might as well quit stalling, and, at least reply once more, for the moment.

She doesn't want to reject EVERYONE--she just sees herself as having high standards, and so far no one appears to have met those standards. She's trying to be careful with her feelings because she doesn't want to get hurt again. That's why she hates Zappa and now Zack, because from what she's experienced of them, they're 100% opposite what she wants and needs.

What does she want and/or need! I've been trying to figure it out but since I couldn't I tried to make my characters stay clear from her.
