Can't you just highlight the text to make it easier to read? That's how I handle the really bright stuff...

that's what he's doing, but he shouldn't have to do so.

I have retinal scarring, and an app called "shades" that overlays black on the monitor to help my eyes. I also have an abnormal rod to cone ratio in my eyes and can't see color as well as most people. That may not be the problem though.

I can't see This Color or This Color or This Color well enough against the bright background of the site to read them, and can barely tell them apart unless they're right next to each other. I figure that if I have so much trouble reading them, there must be other people. What kind of monitor are you using that you can actually see them? Or are you just used to seeing bright colors on bright backgrounds?

I have to read about 50 Roleplaying posts a day, a few of which are multiple paragraphs, another few have spoiler text, and several of which use colors that I have to highlight. I'm not trying to be a burden on anyone, but no one should have to highlight dialogue text just to read it, especially not if they're expected to read all the posts to check them for inappropriate stuff...

Not saying I mind doing that so much, but I'd appreciate some consideration for the fact that I'm doing that for you guys...

Well I didn't know all that.
I'm just using my normal laptop screen. I guess it is LED, so that may make a difference and make it easier for me. okay... so that's a tab of three characters that I need to change... actually 4 because one of them is the same as one you told me to change... possibly five if I'm not misremembering one of the others.
this is annoying.

Like I said, not trying to be a burden at all, but just consider what I have to do here...
If you just change:
#80FF00 to #80BF00
#80FFFF to #80BFFF
#BFFF00 to #BFBF00
all of which are 1 square up on the color thing, everything would be fine. Those bottom row colors though? They're a nightmare to keep looking at...

Perfect. It's pretty much the bottom row colors that are too bright. Everything else seems to be fine....
A good point of reference is the color around the color-palette: if it's brighter than that, it's too bright.

Hrm... I wonder if your computer would accept color profiling? I think the ATI drivers and NVidia drivers can do it... You could setup your gfx card to darken the brighter output colors, like a noise-gate/compressor but for video...

Everything but text in those colors is just fine: I'm not going to screw up the color output of my dev machine just so I can read posts on a forum. Once again, the point I'm trying to make is that no one should HAVE to highlight the colors you use. The entire point in the first place was to make it clear who was talking and when...

I was actually hoping for a longer cave story and possibly finding the tunnel to the chapel.

EDIT: Or do I have to pull off a Leeroy Jenkins?

Okay, so far:

Seth
RandomGeekNamedBrent
Razgriz
Valerio
Icekitsune

Also counting me. I'm just a tad worried cause for a week and a half no one posted I think.

I'm still in, it's just that Iblis didn't go along with the hiking trip, so he's alone at camp.

Okay. That brings us up to 6. So with 12 slots. Assuming no one else posts that their here, that's 6/12 slots that are open. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

@Leafolawl I think we're waiting for you at Applegate. Unless your busy of course.

All righty. I don't know if Ace11 is still with us or not, or whoever else I'm missing. But that leaves:

Seth
RandomGeekNamedBrent
Razgriz
Valerio
Icekitsune
Leafolawl
Me

Ying?
Ace11?

That leaves at least 4-5 spaces open for new people. I'm just trying to see who's still with us that's all.

Should we add a 'post once/twice a week rule' or something? Am I being impatient or am I just a bad roleplayer?

Yes and no... If I get the on-campus job I want... once a week may not be possible.

That's why I added the twice a week. Cause. When I work, I sometimes don't have time to post. Sigh. Just forget it.

twice a week is more than once a week, I don't know how that would be better for someone who can't post.

perhaps you meant once every two weeks.

I'm sure that's what he meant and I actually think once every two weeks is a pretty good idea really. Anyone disagree?

Which sucks because I think you guys have great characters. And I thought that Ctmjh had cut this role play.
perhaps you meant once every two weeks.
Actually, I was thinking of any combination but didn't word it right. But that was one of the options I had in mind. Cause I can realistically do that.

a note:
I messed up, I forgot that the angel statue was discovered before the lake. Actually, the statue we saw first was placed in a rounded shrine.
Now, since my idea for a mini-explanation (nothing relevant to the arc, just to add to the local folklore) was based upon the statue being near the lake instead (again, FORGETFUUUUUL here), what if the GM and you guys agreed that there is another statue, but this time one they hadn't previously noticed? (smaller statue, hid in a corner, etc.?)

It can easily e assumed that. And it was just noticed. :)

Next on the list: Underground fort below at hidden entrance anyone?

We can do that Val but first we are going to head back to camp (to pick up Leafolawl and anyone else that's still there) and maybe even back to Sunset (if you guys want to) and explore from the other end at the church.

No, I hadn't cut this roleplay. I've just been at a complete and utter loss as to how to continue, like Moon Howler said.
