My sleeping habits are out of wack. Prior, I hadn't slept in roughly 2 and a half days....soooo.....you know.

I drink coffee religiously. It's pretty much my blood type at this point.

You know what the ironic part is? I never am doing anything productive, which is sad. I could be getting so much stuff done in the time I am awake. Instead I lie around and read, and generally do nothing.

Jolty, speak to the Doc (esp. if you have insurance...) 16 hours when fit is way too many hours. 8 is recommended. Trust me, too much is as bad as too little. lol Guys calm down. I don't think 16 hours of sleep after 2.5 days of not sleeping is really that unusual. I'm pretty confident in saying that Jolty doesn't need to see a doctor. He/She just needs a sleep schedule.

So, I reread some of the posts and realized that I missed a few things, like the group going through the portal. I edited my post to account for that, since the way it was before, Kolt was the only one in that that bubble he made, which made him asking someone to call Hivemind kinda weird.

We're kinda doing this attack 'on the fly' so, if anyone wants to add an attacker, that's good with a few reservations.

This is a spontaneous attack, not planned. The Vixen has worked Earth before so she knew where to get a gun quick but, hunter or not, these guys were just on a holiday cruise until 'activated' Their access to heavy weapons is nil. None are exactly 'in their prime' or they wouldn't be flying a cruise ship to Earth to sightsee. But they would all be dangerous. And n-one knows who's paying. It's just pictures from social media with a 'get the cub, Dead or Alive' message.

I don't have the time to introduce the warriors quite yet. I have to leave soon. I will probably get to do it when I get back from work.

Anyway, I imagine Tempest's armor as being somewhere between Spartan armor from Halo and Teno armor from Warframe. Sleeker and more aerodynamic than the tank-like Spartans but with more armor plating than the default Teno Excalibur armor, which is basically just a shielded full-body suit.

unless i missed a post and there is a third person using needles, none of the needles were aimed at tempest. they were aimed at the two unarmored combatants. throwing a hypodermic needle at someone in body armor is pointless.

Kinda unrelated tangent, but I’ve been listening to Master of Tides by Lindsey Stirling a lot (music starts around the 40 second mark), and all I can think about with the tune and that title is Tempest doing some kind water show. Like I said, unrelated tangent, but that idea has been stuck in my head for days, and I needed to share it with someone.

The Three Warriors from weakest to strongest.

Codename: Warlord
Roll: Tank
Primary Weapon: Regicide; A massive warhammer with a singularity core. Regicide is capable of generating gravitational pulse waves. Striking the ground with it causes local tectonic upheaval. A standard swing generates a gravitational wake which extends up to several hundred feet from the hammer itself and can throw objects regardless of weight.
Secondary Weapon: Arc Gauntlets; Shield draining electric gauntlets that can charge and extend the range and power of the Regicide's attacks and other abilities.
Defensive: Dome shield; A large near invulnerable shield that covers Warlord and nearby allies while accelerating ally projectiles that exit it. The shield is large enough to cover four allies Warlord's size.
Special: Singularity; Using the core in it's warhammer, Warlord generates a gravitational field that draws in opponents before smashing them with powered up swings from it's hammer.

Codename: Lumberjack
Roll: Damage/Support
Primary Weapon: Sawmill; A twelve barrel rotary cannon that typically fires 100 mm armor piercing high explosive rounds at 500,000 rpm. High recoil, low precision, Lumberjack makes up for this with an advanced targeting system and upgraded motor strength in it's arms. Sawmill is also equipped with an energy drill, which is basically energy bayonets on the end of each barrel, to cut through any cover the shells can't fire through.
Secondary Weapon: Arc Saw; A long attachment to the Sawmill. A long plasma arc runs all along the underside of the saw. This plasma arc cuts through all but a handful of substances.
Defensive: Gun Shield; A basic gun-mounted energy shield. Can only sustain a certain amount of damage before requiring a recharge.
Special: Deforestation; Pumping all power to it's weapon, Lumberjack fires a concentrated beam from the central barrel on Sawmill. Excess power is pumped into the main gun, doubling it's firing speed and upgrading the projectiles with shield-damaging arc explosions.

Bit of clarification:

Vkal principle: as it's diameter increases linearly, an interdiction field's required power scales up logarithmically.

Interdiction field: an energy phenomenon from Kobor's home reality. an ellipsoidal (usually spherical as that's the most efficient) field of artificial energy that causes atoms within itself to try to match speed with eachother. Useful as a crash safety device as it minimizes deceleration forces, useless for pretty much everything else due to the fact that matched relative velocity between you and the air around you means you can't inhale.

It was supposed to look like one of those files that is so classified that literally the whole thing is blacked out. That was the joke, and in order to get that appearance I had to write something in the spoilers. I didn't want to just do spaces because that's boring and I didn't want to do the actual stats because I wanted to have some build up to Predator's reveal and anyone can read what's past the spoilers. Currently there is nothing that absolutely needs to be known about Predator, and so I was hoping to reveal that in the story itself. I don't know if that's going to happen in this day in the RP, but if it isn't "today" then it will be soon.
