Wow, sorry I posted before reading the OOC. I pretty much ended the storm because I had to move my characters away. I'm going away for like, a week.

Big storm!! tornado sirens went off..

Trees an wires are down.. roof tiles have blown off homes.. flood waters.. mud slides... hordes of toads!

15. Blood, Sid, and Tori met with Eddie and Shanks.
16. Cookie, Del, Milk, and Rav headed to the Wall to get Rav's stuff and something to eat/drink.
17. Eddie was embarrassed by Shanks' action, and Eddie decided to leave before being further embarrassed.
18. Blood, Sid, and Tori arrived at Sid's place. But Sid left Blood and Tori outside as he went to get it open.
19. Cookie, Del, Milk, and Rav met with Eddie and Shanks outside of The Wall.
20. The storm arrived, along with the tornado siren.
21. Cookie, Del, Eddie, and Milk went inside The Wall to evade the storm. But Shanks' hat was blown away, and he chased it instead of finding shelter, with Rav chasing after him.
22. Sid finally got the door open, and let Blood and Tori in to hide from the Storm.
23. Shanks couldn't find the hat, but Rav caught up with him.
24. A power pole was hit by lightning, and there was a blackout.
25. Eddie almost rushed outside to storm to look for Rav and Shanks, but fortunately Rav and Shanks returned to The Wall before that happened.
26. After getting themselves dry, talking about Shanks' hat, and getting some coffee. Eddie, Milk, and Shanks had a poker game with Eddie winning most of the time.
27. The storm died down, with only rain left.
28. Dimitri moved in. He and his owner went to The Wall to get some coffee.
29. After another introduction, everyone at the cafe returned to their home. (Current)

For the cafe group, all we need is a wrap up post for the day or something.

For the group at Sid's place... Well, you have to ask them.

I'll just overlook the fact that a new day started (beginning in the afternoon for some reason...) and not everyone was finished with the previous day. I'm having a rough time and that just happens to work very nicely to encourage writer’s block.

Hey guys i would like to join, I have my character Charlie. But she failed, I don't even know what happened lol. Any way ill post her up for RV, i just have to change a few things around that is. Alright, here are just my thoughts on your character. Just taking into account the setting and amount of realism in this RP, it would appear very out of place for there to be a cat (let alone an exotic breed like a Bengal mix) to have military training or background. That’s the only one big detail I didn’t like when I saw your original character sheet, especially with that original backstory she had. If that's one of the detials you plan on changing around, awesome.

Other than that, I don’t think there would be any problems, one more exotic looking pet with terrible luck in RV. =P

Lol D-singer if you meant the whole magic mumbo-Jumbo stuff. Then yeah that's all gone, and i have kept some things that i originally wrote the same, but they fit around it now. So basically she finished her military training. And now she is resigned.

I’m not exactly referring to any of the details involving magic, I can see that’s been cleared up. I’m talking about your character involvement in military, period. Even if resigned, that would make for a pretty unfitting past considering the setting in RV. Supposedly it mirrors the real world, just in my opinion that would include it being unheard of for a feline to have any modern military employment.

I have to agree with D-singer's concerns about her having military training.
The ones with military or para-military training are kept on short leashes by there military handlers, an/or are closely watched by the local animal control.

she was an animal tracker? sounds like her job was to track down run away pets? that would make her training police/civilian in nature.

At luck-2, every thing would always go wrong for her. I don't see her being able to get through military training with luck like that.

Spare for the little incident RV had with animal control going nuts after the rescue, I'd say characters like Marshall (special ops K9) aren't that closely watched.

Once again, my concern with simplething's character was this. Simply put, She's a freaking CAT, have you ever heard of a cat being used for military/police ANYTHING??

I think they have their own separate beds, it is just that Milk likes to invade Cookie's bed sometimes!

well you see she was taken into a special division that was specifically designed for feline training. a cats natural reflexes and awareness was vital to the training she had undergo, she has also worker with the Canine team. Also RockstarRacoon is right. It's Housepets..erm....i ughh...i don't know i can change her to a dog if..its that much trouble. But my intentions were always for her to be a cat with this special training. You know...something different.

Yes. Cats are used in this type of thing all the time. Unlike dogs, they can climb things and do more delicate work. On top of that, it's HOUSEPETS, so I'd expect it'd be a little more lenient with the different kinds of animals, seeing as they all talk and stuff.

Ok, I don’t really want to have you majorly alter your character just because I don’t like how she fits with the RP. But again, I still think it’d be a bit out of place if you play her as she is right now.



If you’re talking about how they’d use cats like that in reality, please show me because I have yet to see it (thus far I’ve only heard of dogs, birds, horses, and some marine animals having any significant/official application in military use). If you’re only talking about Housepets then I could understand that, though it’d probably still be an unconventional concept, even there. If she was some type of 'privately' trained and employed service animal, it’d make more sense.

I could easily imagine some enthusiast wanting a Bengal cat with native martial arts skills for an animal guard. That actually sounds pretty cool.

i-i can do that if thats what you want. I dont want any one to be uncomfortable with her, because it affects the RP and it's just makes every thing...GUHH.

I wouldn’t feel too good if you changed her up only on what I recommended, but if you go by this I'd have no problems whatsoever. Be creative.
