Funny... I thinkmy character, named Sid(who is the character we've been discussing) would have a specific way to deal with that, actually. Alex might know of him because he's the bass guitarist in a popular and original-sounding hardcore-punk band from Detroit named The Stray Bullets, which Alex might have heard of.

So why shouldn't Alex and Sid meet?

K, so this is the situation:
Sid (who's character sheet is in my Sig) is a cat who is a member of a Detroit hardcore-punk band named The Stray Bullets. He is notable in that he is a former stray, and the only cat in what was origionally an all-human band. He is the most known member of this band because 1) he's somewhat insane (literally) and 2) he endorses radical animal-rights views (as in: no more laws against strays). They are on their summer tour right now (this is chronologically right after he leaves after BsM S1D4) and visiting RV because they have 2 shows in the area and they found lodging in RV in a fan/friend's house.\

A few things about this character and RV:
Sid (aka: Sid Cooper or Sid Vicious) is a former stray who hates Animal Control, and once detached the doors from a van he thought belonged to them on (BsM S1D3). He has PTSD and is somewhat crazy aside form that. He doesn't believe in any of the laws restricting animals, and believes them to be on par with humans when it comes to natural-rights (period. No exceptions). He's a bit of a hypocrite, as he happily submits to being John's pet and calls him dad (part of his insanity is the desire to be a happy pet, which he can't be) and eats meat, despite believing in universal-equality. (of course, it's entirely possible that he's practicing equality, and would eat any animal if he was hungry) In a fight, he'd probably wipe the floor with Venison, unless Venison pulled a weapon. He killed one of the dogs on Venison's list (Griefer), but Venison may not know this, and Sid doesn't like to talk about it. He uses alot of Catnip. He ALWAYS wears the glasses to hide an eye deformity (revealed at the end of BsM S1D3), and generally doesn't depart with the collar to avoid a run in with the law, and likes to wear the Jacket, which has alot of his favorite stuff.

That's not totally precise or complete, but it should be a good snapshot for you guys.

Okay, guys, I've decided that I won't bring Alex and Mai out until the day is over, or until the next time skip. I'd like to, but neither of them knows any of these characters who are already involved in their own arcs. And the rest of characters aren't there due the absence of the players.

Anyway, I am already on the 24th page of RV and I read the recent post too. So don't worry, I know quite well what I am getting myself into! You didn't think I would join a neighbor without scouting out first, would you?

Not to mention Cookie is quite strong by herself, and Milk has good Perception and Agility too. I am sure they can handle themselves just fine!

Aqua, Ceets, your characters are good, and I know you're both pretty good RP'ers. However, like 'Coon mentioned, do take into account how dark this one RP can get (read: The Feral Pack Arc and the Animal Control Assault) as well as how slow it can get too. Be prepared to bug people to post! The two characters will certainly lift spirits though, and hopefully give us some new and good interactions for the day. I still want to have that water fight...

Yay! And don't worry, I see the slowness as an advantage. I may have too much time right now, but once school starts I will be busy again. And I am sure I can bug people well!
