The foxes retrieved a pink flying disc from the kite eating tree, but Lucky broke his tail again, when he caught kayla when she fell out of the tree.
They have wandered up to a gathering group of other pets who are cloistered over a map.

Cinnamon has had to leave Richmond Acres due to his hyperactivity, and he's been invited here. I'm going to read up on the RV thread a while before posting. Where would a rescued Pine Marten end up? I don't think his former owners would have let him end up in a cage (particularly not his "dad"... his "mom" is a bit more practical-minded).

Cinnamon can be hard to understand. His thoughts get ahead of his mouth well technically it's his speech centers that can't keep up but that sounds dumb anyway he runs on a bit before he remembers to take a breath or pause to let people with less overclocked brains catch up. Like that. Except usually not quite so long because I couldn't get that out in one breath so I wouldn't put that many words in one chunk of dialog. That's more like it. If this is going to be a problem, let me know before I get invested in the role-play.

I've never had a problem figuring out eventually what Cinnamon was trying to say or do..

In RV playing your human/owners is encouraged..
I mean, how are you going to sneak out of the house after you get grounded, if your not playing your owners?

Rav wouldn't be taking the advanced dog fighting classes, he has grown too submissive and Umm lazy to do so.

If his new handler, Blood's owner Dustin. didn't insist on him taking them.

In RV, the human and animal Hospitals are in different wings and towers of the same building complex.
Pets are required to be dressed up in head to paw, in papermesh outfits. to prevent their shed fur or dander from causing allergic reactions when in the human side of the building.

Come to think of it.
The State Ranger station, has a mobile vet clinic RV.
That they use to take out into remote areas. Where they round up the local feral's to be. inventoried, examined, ear tagged, vaccinated, an other needed procedures. and most are then released back into the wild.

If Cinnamon brings his old owners, they are wildlife rehab specialists.
So they would be assigned to care for such characters, like all the foxes in town now.

Dagnabbit, I made a post and it's not shown up. Must have been aftermath of the power outage.

Let's see if I can remember the hilights.

1. Don't want to pull the Waltons out of RA, they're being played by Hlaoroo.

2. He's trained for two jobs - taking care of wild animals, and being a show-and-tell subject. He could have been traded to the zoo and actually working there morning and evening shift (matching pine marten schedules).

I'm not sure if the Zoo would let one of there exhibits loose to run free in the town.?

He could be the local high school/collage mascot? owned by a professor now.

Or owned by the Rangers. That would let him be used as a show an tell animal in town.
Then sent out into the forests and mountains to calm and lure in the local wildlife, so the Rangers can tag, inoculate, and process them.

Cinnamon isn't a flight risk, like most zoo animals, because of his injuries and his excessive socialization.

I thought about the rangers but he wouldn't be able to keep up with them, I don't think.

He gripes about his chores, but I think he'd miss working with animals.

I still haven't taken the time to read through the RP, I may completely change my mind after that.

Looking at the actual HP! canon, now I think of it, zoo animals seem to be pretty much free to come and go. Except the black-footed ferrets. I wonder why?

Highlights of what has happened before in RV.

Jumplion bit a child.

Venison escaped from is owners secret pet experimenting lab.

Later on, Rav was serendipitously taken to the lab for some, attitude correction.

A huge pack of, run away / feral pets, known as Griffin's pack. invaded RV.
Resulting in a huge fight, first with the pets, then with the humans.
Ending with Venison, helping the survivors escape being taken into custody.
Where they moved on to form the Haven RP.

Had a tornado pass near the town. felling wires and trees.

Had aliens visit the town, an experiment on the pets.

The pets just had a ghost chili eating contest.

No Hotep's nanobot's are terrestrial.

The end result of the aliens experiment is that Blood, Rav, & Carlito are empathic with each other now.
Can feel where the others are if they get close enough.
Or if they concentrate, can mind speak with each other.
But their range they can do this is short.
about 100yds to mind speak.
Can feel the others surface emotions or pain out to 200yds.
An get a general sense of the location of the others out to 300yds.

The aliens experiment was to see if they could create a hive mind work group

Edit-edit: Is there a college nearby, suitable for a young would-be doctor of veterinary medicine to attend? It's about time for Sandy Walton to go to school, and he could take Cinnamon with him.

Edit-edit-edit: They probably don't allow exotic pets in dorms, so he'd be officially transferred [temporarily in theory] to the zoo as an intern for room and board, because Doc Walton has Connections.

Looks like Sixtoes can run through the Zoo parking lot.
Then follow the river culvert under the busy hi-way, into the pet park!..

I was worried that he would have to travel so far, that he would be worn out by the time he got from the Zoo to where the other pets are. that he would have to nap once he got there.

Yes yes yes yes I mean I got a collar but it's really symbolic whoever heard of actually having a leash on it I mean apart from that day that fat kid pulled my tail but they said he didn't even have to have stitches!
