And I'M BAAAAACK!!!
At last! Seems that life is getting a little more relaxed, and I'll be having more time to respond. Sorry for being chronically late as of lately. I keep enjoying the RPG experience a ton!

I know it's probably just me, but. Other people wonder and wait on other people to post right? Or is everyone waiting for everyone else to check on people until someone does it? It just feels that, even though I'm probably overthinking it, probably, that I do it a lot in the threads I play in. And I have to think to myself, the other players wonder about the other players and want to play right? Or am I just a bit too invested in this thing we like to do together? At least, I think we like to do this together. I dunno.

Oh yeah. Everyone waits for other people all the time. You don't HAVE to wait if you're not directly responding to them though, just as long as you don't end up spamming or leaving anyone behind.

I have returned! Sorry again for dropping off the face of the earth. Life kind of took over with finals, transfer applications, work and some sucky family stuff. Things finally seemed to have calmed down and really do appreciate the patience.

And Hunter! I’m one of the biggest offenders of this. So I apologize again. Days kinda get muddled together. I have email notifications linked for the PMs so whenever someone messages me it kinda snaps me back and reminds me to do the thing I enjoy every once in awhile too so I thank everyone for that.

No problem Roarin! I'm just glad your okay!

And of course, I put the well being and safety of my fellow posters over my desire to want to have them post. Just don't expect us to wait for you for 3-4 weeks of nonresponsiveness to outreach and we've moved on leaving your character behind.

I mean, heck, I don't expect that from my other posters towards me. It's just that, sometimes it can feel like your the only one doing the outreach, which is totally not the case here, it can just feel like it.

Edit: Also, hey, um Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the midwest!

so, as some of you might have noticed, i'm good at the setup side of things, but not so much at knowing what to do to keep things going once they get started.

so i have two questions before i send a proposal over to the mods, Would any one want to play as space pirates, and is anybody willing to help me run it?

Hmm... I'd have to see a description of what you had in mind. As you can probably tell, I'm not particularly good at making the kind of nefarious character that being a space pirate would imply they would need to be. In fact, none of my characters really deviate from my own personality that much...

Maybe if you posted the full description? More people might be interested if they know exactly what they are interested in.

well this part makes up the premise
Non-HPU: Life on the frontier.

Marauder side:
"Alright you lot, The name's Riley Drake. CAPTAIN, Riley Drake. That ship behind me is the Nightengale, the most feared Marauder Cruiser in this sector. You're here because you want off this dirtball, and I'm here because you might be useful to me. Don't disapoint me."

Corsair Side:
"My name is Joshua Lexington, Captain of the Corsair. I'm not going to lie, this is not an easy job, Bounties don't always come quietly. But out here on the frontier, if we don't keep the peace, who will? We're here to make a difference."

before we start, players will vote which side they want to play as, the other side will be the reocurring antagonists, and any characters made for that side could appear as 'villans'.

characters will use the same type of sheet as STEELHAVEN characters used to, because why reinvent the wheel?

Play works in three alternating phases, in one, you're gathering info about a heist/bounty, and planning the job. in the second, you try to execute the plan while the GMs throw obstacles at you. lastly you get some down time before the next job needs to start being planned, during which character sideplots can occur.
