I thought that with not being able to post with Koa would fix my writers block for this RP, but something is missing for each thing I think of, and I can't figure it out. but anyway who all is on the ship atm other than a bunch of rats?

Maybe you're not naturally an otter. Try another species?

There are still cats and other crew on the ship. They'd never leave the ship empty - there'll always be enough men/pets on board to defend it if need be.

Jin and Cedric are on board but that's probably it I think.
Roarin - You can control Walker and his rats from now on.

I have a couple of announcements to make:

Firstly, the new rat characters (Walker, Jeordi, etc.) are NPCs meaning you can still control them without going over your limit and there is no need to make character sheets for them (unless you particularly want to, of course).

Secondly, since it seems I'm using Pepito a lot more than I'm using Cedric, I'm going to make Cedric an NPC and Pepito a main character in his place. I'll be making a character sheet for Pepito as soon as I get time.

He's on the island, I believe, right, Argent.

He could be either place, he doesn't need to supervise Eduardo, and his cabin is more comfortable than a tent.

That's true.

So the question becomes: where do you want Jin to find him?

Wherever Jin's player thinks it'll make for a more interesting story.

So as you all may or may not know, Argent has resigned as GM due to being rather too busy of late and I have stepped in to fill the role. He'll still be around to play his characters if need be but from now on I'm the go-to guy for anything you guys need rather than him.
This means that my previous post of backup GM is now available so if anyone wants that job drop me a line or comment in here. ;)

-Name- - Vincent - |Male|
-Character Type- ::MAIN::
-Species- Border Collie
-Age- 21 (Dog)
-Neighborhood-
|||:::||| 17th Cent. Ship |||:::|||

-Appearance- (Fur is only matted due to his current, starting story condition. After a good 'bath' his fur will revert to a sleek, slick, and smoother sheen.) Matted, unkempt fur layered over the canine like a thick blanket of abyssal black snow over a rippling plane. The shaggy male stands proud, adorning a rather slender body yet holds some form of masculinity, and a charm that would rarely be matched by any other sort of creature. He held a lovable face, mixed in between somewhere cute and handsome- slender, long, soft features with eyes as pure as a perfect sapphire, deeper than any blue hue a man could replicate. As for size, he seemed more humanistic than animal as he stood an unnaturally tall Four foot Three inches. Upon his underbelly, the creature, if without clothes, seemed to wear a strangely red fur color, either dyed or genetically mutated. The red hue was synonymous to that of blood or a wine stain, not matter how much one scrubbed it could not be removed.

As for his personal getup upon arrival to the ship, he seemed to be wearing poor man's clothing, generic tan slacks, overall strappers in a cross section upon his back and a dirtied white shirt with rolled up sleeves. His garb was quite bland, but at least he wasn't entirely naked. As for a collar, the creature didn't seem to hold one upon his person. Either it was lost upon the rolling waves or it was never attained to begin with.

-Personality- Vincent is a very laid back, caring individual that's always trying to help out and explore. He's got a fairly good head upon his shoulders and he's more than capable of helping himself, and others in a pinch. You can bet your bottom dog treat that he's always trying to explore places he really shouldn't be in, or at least places that most other people haven't really dared to adventure into. The creature is always learning new trades and secrets, turning him into an Ace of sorts, jack of all trades, a player, the 'perfect charming soul'. But as always, there are flaws to each self glorified perfectionist...

Quick Back Story::: Vincent begun his life in the slums of a far off town somewhere in England, the kid knew nothing but thievery in order to survive and provide for his dying brood mother - always taking from the rich and selling those items to gain food. Of course it was uncanny for a pet like him to have attained such items in a legitimized manner, especially one of his social class. The creature is no stranger to the dangers of the night, and he is no stranger to strife and turmoil. As of last year, the poor child's mother had finally gone off to heaven, leaving her children to fend for themselves and make it without much of an inheritance or help for the future. Leaving the rest of his pack, Vincent took up boating, bard work, navigation and other few skillful trades that would get him by through life, at least enough to keep decent clothes on his back and food in his stomach, even if half of that food was trash-food thrown out by the rich families that had lived near-town.

After a few years of brushing up his trade skills, the pet was ushered upon the S.S. Anne- a shanty boat that specialized in catching craw-dads on the open sea along with other aqua life. It wasn't much of a pay-out, but at least he was fed a few raw craw-dads and had a place to sleep each night along with the fish that was attained. One unusual stormy night, the sea rocked the boat more than usual. In a flash of lighting, the sirens kicked on and footsteps trampled above deck, stirring the tired, smelly creature to a stumbling wake. The ship was split open from a lethal lighting strike, and the roaring waves were not helping the situation. The entire crew had abandoned ship using the left over rafts, leaving the fish, and pet life to suffer and perish alone....

But, maybe one would escape. One would live to tell the tale. One unnaturally unlucky lad would catch his biggest break, one that could set him to salvation, to a better way of life...

That lad was Vincent, and his story continues onwards.
***Special may need revision due to Vincent's abnormal size. Might need a look over and a second head for opinions and thoughts on the situation.***

Since this sheet is for here I'll answer it here instead of in the main OOC.

I think he looks quite good so far. There's a small anachronism in his back story but that's just me being pedantic.

Given that he is so tall it might be an idea to bump up his strength slightly but that's up to you. After all, not every tall person is strong.

He sounds like he'll be a useful addition to the crew. He's in. Welcome to the good ship Impudence! ;)

Shall I stick to the 42 rule or may I tack +2 to his strength due to his abnormal size? I don't want to be imprudent to the rule, but just curious to see if I could scape that 42.

Other than that, I'll go ahead and make my starting post for all to relish in! Will be a while before it's done. But it will be here soon!
Ohmygosh, I can't wait! <3

Also, where are we currently in the story? **** EDIT ****

Trouble is, if I let you do that then I have to let everyone else do that too and that throws off the whole system. I think that needs to either be done for everyone in a RP or not at all. So I'm not going to let you do that, sorry. If you want to bump his strength up 2 then I'd suggest taking 1 off Charisma and 1 off Luck since they're both fairly high anyway and they're not going to have a huge impact on his abilities. It's up to you what you want to reduce though.

Not an issue, but I'll ask again. Where are we at currently in the story? I'm thinking about drifting ahsore, but gotta make sure there is somewhere people will blatantly see me, since Vinny ol pal is currently. Floating on old remnants of a smashed ship.

Yeah, the most of the crew of the Impudence are currently camped on the beach while they resupply and explore the island. The rest of the crew are on board to guard the ship.

I will have some issues posting until later tonight, and I do apologize in advance due to my absence. Currently have to work between the times of 10-9:30, but I'll be partially off Sunday for a good half of the day. I do give permission to other players to move my unconscious character around a bit till further notice. No smooching!

You might be right, Hotep...
Let's make it mid/late afternoon as a bit of a compromise. That was Pepito isn't too far off in his estimate but it's closer to nightfall.

Also, Hotep and Hyper, I know this love scene with Dune and Blacks is exciting but don't get too carried away, please. You've already just used pretty much a whole page to yourself. Try to limit it to say 5 posts per day please.

Everyone else: I suppose we've all had Christmas and New Year's off, which is fine, but let's see if we can get this RP moving again. ;)
