OK so get this. I'm a nerd.
I RP.
ALOT.
I like having a general "I do this I do that" or 3rd person or 4th person or any other person point of view roleplaying. And as i am TRULY surprised this has yet to come up, I'd like to ask the MOD's permission to start this as a new forum, moving the fancharacters over to it, thereby eliminating the need to switch back and forth, and allowing for more freedom in the genre of roles available (I.E. one topic Romance, another, Action!!!, yet another, With Storyline etc.)

As with anything and everything there will of course be RULES specifically 5 main points

1. NO GODMOD - No invulnerability, no "nintendo's kiddy" psychocrazy berzerkers, no god reborn as pets (its been done, read Small Gods by Terry Pratchet) in general I think you get the gist.

2. NO AMNESIA - ...Its annoying...Stop it.

3. KEEP IT PG-13 - No prevalent cussing, blood or gore (my own rule makes me sad ) no sexx0rz

4. LEGIBILITY IS KEY - plz dnt tyep liek 'dis kthnxbai!

5. ITS ALL IN YOUR IMAGINATION - Its all fun and games, DON'T take things seriously and DON'T get all in a huff over he said she said.. Unless its relevant to the action taking place (I.E. in a lovers quarrel or somesuch nonsense)

And yes... There are entire forums devoted to RPing on the intertubes... I'm a member of several. It happens alot and was bound to happen eventually, especially with a comic as awesome and regular as housepets!

You know PVP gets along with only a single forum.

I think it was titled "big ears, big tail or big ego" or something like that.

in my experience (what little of it there is) some RPs use an RP thread where they do the roleplaying and they also use an OOC (out of character) thread so that the two don't muddle each other up. for the moment I don't think we'd have enough players to worry about that just yet though.

I don't reallly rp though...

So nobody had bothered reading the whole thing or is it that no one bothers to join it...? I've only heard stuff about rules I've posted.

Edit: Also, those rules only apply to my RP. If you creat your own RP, you make your own rules for it.

ahh... I'm new to the forums but... i think i like this... a lot... although the blood and gore thing kinda sucks but rules are rules. and i follow rules to the LETTER.
