 New Contest! Make your mark... ...on the forums!
OK, so we all know the header/banner image is a little outdated (to put it mildly). Well, we're giving you a chance to do something about it! From this day forward, we'll hold a quarterly contest for new banners. We ask that you make your entries seasonally-themed. It's currently Summer in Babylon Gardens and that means the pets are ready for some outdoors fun!
The Important Stuff:
- E-mail your submissions to housepets.moderation@gmail.com and use "Forum Banner Submission" in the subject line. This will make sure it gets to the right place and isn't overlooked.
- You may draw and send submissions whenever you wish. The banners will be updated on the first days of July (Summer), October (Autumn), January (Winter), and April (Spring).
- If your submission is chosen, you'll receive a special "Banner Artist" rank title for the period when your image is active.
- Rick will make available a high-definition version of the Housepets! logo on request.

I admit, I like to see Rick do it first and then see everyone else's submissions after the first year we try this out. Think we'll ever see Rick add a submission of his own?

Summer banner? I've got it! Furless Housepets!
That way they can enjoy the sun and stand the heat of the summer beach, and get a neat-looking tan while they are at it, too!

Re: New Contest! Make your mark... Heh, I love this idea! I always did wonder when the banner would be updated since HousePets! changed art styles, but now users get to make the banners. Makes me wish my own artistic abilities were up a bit. X3
Random question, though. Are entries restricted to some size limit? I'd figure there's a height limit, but what about width?
