actually, after hunter retconned his posts to requests, the van was already gone by the time Miles got there. All they know for sure is that Rex wasn't right outside the forest anymore and that he isn't responding to thoughts. they could have possibly assumed he went home and just didn't feel like responding.

so Rex's brother (I forget his name) is more likely to notice that something's wrong.

Well animals can supposedly sense ghosts much easier than people so while a 10 perception wouldn't let you "see" ghosts something like your most recent post where keon can kinda sense them is fine with me.
