Wait, 12 can join the RP or that's how many users there are currently ('cause if it's the latter, the math is wrong)?

now, by twelve can join, does that mean there are 12 slots left or that there are 12 in total and there's one left open?

To the people performing boy-scout surgery, you don't need to respond to what I just said, but I really hope you pay attention to it, because you're (probably) about to push the rating even further than someone having a piece of wood stuck in their leg is....

Also, when you pull it out, how do you plan on stopping the bleeding? I'm pretty sure you're supposed to take someone straight to the hospital when that sort of thing happens...

Don't do things just because I say them though, I'm just telling you where the line is before you accidentally cross it...

Oh we respect that, and i'll make sure Duke doesn't go gushing, but as for the bleeding Rena applied a tournicate around his leg which will slow the bleeding, then if I remember correctly she also had bandages then again Duke might need a hospital or something since he's already lost alot of blood.

To RandomGeekNamedBrent:

What seth is say is:

There are 12 slots in the neighborhood.

We have 9 current members.

There are 2 people waiting to join which would bring us up to 11 members.

Which would leave 1 spot open.

Hope that helps.

Honestly, this line is one of those ones I know all to well, which is why I'm kinda happy none of the other characters seems to know first-aid. I plan on avoiding as many details as one can on what's happening, and have a plan on how things will pan out(Not even the greatest of plans survive contact with the enemy.(metaphor)), I just don't want to leave all the other characters behind.

Also, I have taken a great interest in how stuff like this works, and it's normal to take someone straight to the hospital when stuff like that happens, but not something really needed. I read some medical training cards that were lying around the house that tells you how to do this without doing serious harm to the person who you're extracting the object from.

But if there's one thing about medical things you can always rely on, it's that old methods are never replaced, only improved on.

Anyways, the "Gauze and wrap" technique would work for slowing the bleeding long enough to get Duke to Rena's house, where she has a first-aid kit filled with medical stuff with animals in mind. It has sutures in it so she can close the wound made by the incision properly.

Not to mention that, as long as the patient receives first aid treatment, there's no need to go further than that. we can just skip to when the wood is out and wound cleaned up.

Okay. NOW I'm saying something. I'm pretty sure that the people in this neighborhood are mature enough to know what and what not to say. What happened when people were accountable for their own selves and allowed to use self judgement? And yet we have not one, but two mods breathing down our necks to be careful? When we have been all this time? What happened?

Calm yourself. Friendly (and lighthearted!) reminders are never out of place, especially when there is an impending scene with strong possibility of graphic medical procedure. Further, please read and familiarize yourself with the forum rules, particularly the ones pertaining to respecting staff members.
Respect the moderators and their decisions. If you want to know why an action was taken, feel free to PM the moderator with any questions. If their answer doesn't satisfy you (or you think it's unfair), you may ask a global moderator for a second opinion. However, you should not make a big scene in public and disrupt the flow of conversation. Doing so will result in a warning.

I'm not saying that because I don't think they get it, I'm saying that because I don't want them to forget.

I'm letting you be accountable, and the note was only meant to make that easier.

I have no idea what Dissention is doing here, but sometimes he likes to stand over my shoulder and repeat me. I really don't think it's necessary to quote the "respect the mods" rule when someone is simply questioning my actions though, especially since I'm new to this and may well have been talking about it too much when the first reminder would suffice.

Also, I'm not trying to be here in a super-official sense, I'm just sort of commenting as I watch you guys, because I have to read every topic that gets updated and it makes things more interesting if I can actually say something for once. The punching thing was simply friendly banter...

In short: I don't mean to be a pain if I'm being a pain, and I don't intend to enforce any rules if I don't see them being broken, and I doubt you guys are going to do anything. I just wanted you guys to be aware that you were near the line before you accidentally crossed it, and once that was done, I was just hanging out...

I'm a global moderator, I moderate all the forums. In this specific instance, I was being silly and made a rhyme with what you said.

Honestly, I can see what xhunterko is saying about multiple mods saying something about the same thing, especially where it's just a reminder. If it's been said, it's been said, I don't see a need for anything further to be put in by the mods if the reminder has been given. But I also understand that we ARE walking on a thin line, so I can see why multiple moderators would feel the need to say something about it.

If we've got a handle on it, we've got a handle on it, if not... Well, that's our own fault for thinking we do, and we deserve whatever punishment the mods decide we need, especially where we've gotten a reminder. That's how I see it, anyways.

Everyone seems to be missing the part where mine was silly, as indicated by the winking emoticon and attempted rhyming with RockstarRaccoon's.

I was just wondering, with all the mod warnings and stuff with what your group is doing. Should i be reading what you guys are doing? Because so far i've skipped over all those posts. Also what your group is doing sounds interesting. Based on the comments so far.

If I remember correctly, it was said to get dark at around six PM in character, and where there's been so much to go on, I'd say it's close to about 10:30/11:30...

I'm not completely sure about that though.
