I'm getting back into the swing of things at school after spring break, so I haven;t been thinking of a response. I'll get to it either tonight or tomorrow.

Erm, for the time being, I'm waiting for Korakc to reply for Riley, then hopefully we can move out of Grace's house. It's a stalemate inside there =w=

Also, 'banana' is a slang word among English-speaking Chinese people in Malaysia, which means 'a Chinese person who can speak Chinese dialects, but couldn't write or read Chinese at all'. It can be considered a playful insult or a genuine one, hence Grace's reaction.

EDIT: Apparently, Wikipedia says 'banana' means 'a Chinese person by ethnicity growing up in a Westernized environment', ergo not being able to identify with Chinese people who grew up Chinese, the 'mangoes'. But I have heard 'banana' being used with the former definition among my Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking friends, so I guess both works.

But yeah, I was taken aback by the response too, so what Grace speaks is literally what came out of my mouth when I read Miles' song xD

Yeah sorry about that. I'm getting close to my finals week and trying to get my short film for class done. I just kind of forgot/ kept putting off/ didn't have time to post. If I flake on this again just shoot me a pm or bug me on skype.

well, you are right: she *would* sense something odd. And no, the artifact wouldn't shield her perception, just protect her from spiritual harm. so yes, if she wanted to she could actually perceive, perhaps even see this new presence. Just like Miles and Tara and Serenade (or her host entity) could.
That earlier warning was to the benefit of non-sensitive critters. Sorry for not making it clear
