I can't just insert events in an RP like this so I need you guys to at least post.

At the peak of my disappointment, I would be shutting down this SRP due to inactivity and my now disinterest in continuing it or TRYING to continue it.

If anyone would like to continue it feel free to take over. Otherwise I'll ask a moderator to lock this and the IC thread before the end of the week.

Well, it's indeed our fault that we aren't active, but I do hope that there will be another RP for your taste around here.

I do wonder about that... with all the restrictions and everything placed on what we are able to roleplay in these parts o wo...

I'm more of a psychological/mystery type roleplayer but I'm not allowed to do that nor am I able to do that with the conditions here.
The most I am allowed here is for action/survival, but same goes for the above, not much I can do with the conditions here.
So far most of the RPs generally fall into idyllic, romance or ludicrous, genres definitely on the other side of my spectrum as they're basically against my principles of roleplaying.

Beside, roleplaying is a group activity that has quite a few hidden requirement. A lot join on a whim and lose interest after sometime. I would say this is what happened here and that can't be helped, it was new and it was shiny, even I would have jumped in without a second thought. = w=...

I saw a bunch of extra RP conditions when you introduced it and was like "I'll lose interest in this." so I didn't join.

also, Edge City is attempting to follow with the Slenderman Mythos, so you could look at that and give it a try. it hasn't gotten very far other than the fact that everyone's in or going into abandoned buildings. well, most of the characters.

I might take a look into it then. I stopped visiting other neighborhood since a few months ago as not to make myself depressed that mine wasn't moving very well.
Well not depressed... there's another word for what I would have felt o 3o...

However, seeing it's a pet friendly tagged neighborhood I might just not.

Ookay, you might want to start our own SRP maybe? I feel that would be a better idea as you get to set everything with fresh players. After all, I had to stop this due to >INACTIVITY< so I would suggest you scout for a brand new set of players. If you want to use my setting, go ahead as well, RRR.

some of us were less-active, because we waited for others and you should put yourself into this bunch as well, and don't you come up with "but I was a game master" thingy...

The purpose of an SRP was to give people a break from the typical >everyday< RP which involves a relaxed situation.
YES, you did post a bit more, but I could say those were the type of posts the SRP aimed to remove. I brought it up with you and you threatened to quit the RP if I disallowed those posts.

Me inactive, yes <insert "but I was a game master" thingy...> I had power to make random event happen, but I wasn't going to do it that every post was a random event, it wouldn't be unusual if the players moved a lot but they didn't. Plans were made but then they stray off their purpose to go sniff some flowers (not literally) when they should have been looking for food. When they did find some food it's immediately "BACK TO CAMP!"...

I asked for AT LEAST one post a day, and advanced notice in case that wouldn't be made.
Well that went well. I messaged some players and it took a good few days before I see a post.

I would say it back to you, put yourself in my shoes and see if that's fun in anyway.

and YES, inactive are people who don't post at least once a day. YES you were all INACTIVE.
