@Rockstar: That is pretty much the same colour that you complained about on Tesla...

@Dis: The answer is simple, it's easier for met to remember. That's why I don't post too quickly.... I don't remember that I got a reply in the first place.

Dissension makes a very good point: when you guys are testing your colors, you need to make sure they're actually LEGIBLE. I'm pretty much going to state as a rule from now on that any color that starts with FF is off limits. That means any color that has an FF in the Green channel, AKA any of the brightest rows of colors from the color palette at the side. No more of that.

Esper, the color I suggested is VERY CLOSE to the one I complained about, yes, but that's why I suggested it: it is the same color, but infinitely more legible. It's not hue we're complaining about here, it's brightness...

How about when people choose the color in the first place someone speaks up and says if they can't read it before they're approved. Because at least one of the colors that you've made me change gave me no problems at all and were fully legible to me.

I meant the MIDDLE color is FF: as a programmer, I think of them as channels, and trying to explain them as a jumble of letters baffles me.

Hi, I'm gonna pick on Valerio a bit more.
valerio wrote:The thing screamed! it was a piercing sound, like the wail of a newborn spawned from the pits of hell! it wasn't something a mortal mind could associate to the mere hunger of a base predator. it was the bloodcurling call of the harbingers of terror and death, a promise of pain.
And pain was what Randy felt when something clutched at his arm, snapping it as effortlessly as a child might snap a tiny branch. then the horrible stench came near the dog's muzzle.
Randy was going to be eaten!
1) Don't get any more graphic than this "snapping" thing you just mentioned.
2) Is Randy supposed to be weak and pitiful and easy to beat up? Does he have no combat experience what so ever? If so, then he's being stupid, but if not I'm going to go ahead and make my complete outsider's suggestion that you not just beat the crap out of his character without giving him a chance. Seriously, this entire arc has just been you beating the crap out of Thrasherblades' characters and screaming something about how you're teaching them. It just seems silly to me.

As I said, there's nothing I can actually TELL you to do about it and I'm not going to try and make you change the storyline. And if Thrasherblades popped up and told me he was fine with it, then I would stop complaining and go along with it. Seriously though, this is getting a little TOO ridiculous if Randy can't even HIT the monsters you're throwing at him...

My two cents: His other character seems to acknowledge that getting Randy killed is not a valid teaching method. But how I see it, Randy was told that he was not yet ready to face what he's facing, but continued to antagonize them and basically be a cocky idiot. He has little combat experience and little to no training and still thinks he can fight what he doesn't understand.

as for Lars, the learn by doing method is okay because it's unlikely to kill him.

Gah! Strife, strife everywhere! I know it's about brightness but it looks the same... In either case, if I must, can I just use this color? BF0000? Please? It's dark and I can remember it well...

Whatever one you want, as long as it's not too bright!

As a matter of fact, Randy is reckless in situations like this, and can be pretty hot headed at times. He had a boost in his combat fighting skills because it triggered the inner Demon Sylar to help him eliminate his foes in dire need. By the book, I can say that it does not count as combat experience or skill as it is a one-off thing, but just wanted to let you know in case you have been following the RP.

So as Randy himself, he has no combat skills at the current moment, ever since Sylar had been subdued by Balkan. While I am somewhat okay with the unrealistic (or not-so-unrealistic) situations that Randy is faced with, I too admit I was slightly taken aback when the monster had snapped Randy's arm.

My proposition would be that Randy also gets a fair bit of power too, since he does have the shaman marks transferred from Lars.

What say you val?

Still day 2 (or, rather, nearing the end of it). Timeskip is very close.

I believe it's day three. I joined at Day two and ever since, there were 2 nighttimes - the one in which Balkan, Victor, Salina and Randy headed towards Arcadia and then the night after Balkan challenged Fen'rir (speaking of which, you should refresh the starting post... it's a bit out of date.)
So now it must be day three to day four

As long as you're aware that you can bug Val about it when he gets unfair like that, I won't say anything more...

Time to bring some mystery and history into the story :D

EDIT: I wish to change the color of Martin from #4000FF to #8000FF in order not to mess his and Balkan's color.
