Sup guys, going to try once again to insert ads into a style which does not apparently support any mods whatsoever.

is this why the forums were just down?

Yeah...maybe put them at the bottom of the page instead? Me no wanna turn on adblock for the site; I've had it disabled before but if that ad is always sitting up there...

That actually makes more sense anyway, to have it at the bottom instead of the top....

Well give it a little bit; it might look better once there's an actual ad on it. Also I can change it to get rid of the text on the bottom.

I sort of want it on the top because that is where the most eyeballs go. But if it still looks too intrusive in a few hours, I'll move it.

How about I also prepare for a bottom-of-site version too just in case the top isn't gonna work out.

Also be reasonable; it's a LOT better than interstitial post ads.

So, I'm guessing you're doing this because you need a bit more income?

Ah, I wish you luck then.

Now instead of having a large leaderboard ad up top, I could have button ads or half-banner ads up there instead and keep the leaderboard on the bottom.

I find it a tad bothersome. It's not like I'm going to visit the forum less or anything, I'd just rather have my sideways scrolling less wacky (Wii )

Nah, it works fine for me. But the "your ad here." sign is really obnoxious. I'd much rather have an actual ad. Hopefully you'll get some up soon.

Well apparently soon after I started this, Project Wonderful immediately went down in order to do coding updates. Sigh. We should know by tomorrow or something.

When I zoomed in, it was nice having the avatars and signitures relatively on the same side or the screen as the message. when the text is centered I find myself spending extra time scrolling sideways to see what user posted which text and vice versa. For short 1 sentence posts I actually found myself accidentally passing them. All in all it's a bit wonky. I'm not going to complain though, it's your forum

So what you're saying is that all the text is centered? (It would have been nice if you actually said that.)

It's not so much the lack of an ad period that bothers me, it's where it is (and how BIG it is). The bottom one doesn't bother me so much, the top one does, and two of them seem redundant to me. If there must be one at the top, it would seem to make more sense to have it be between the logo on the left, and the text on the right (in other words, above the "User Control Panel, Private messages, FAQ, Search, Members, Login/Logout" bar), rather than where it is. And I don't see the point of having two at all.

I don't really mind too much. If at all possible, it would be nice to have no Evony ads.

The ads dont bug me one bit. As long as they aren't everywhere it's fine in my book.

Some of them look silly and make me giggle :3

nothing wrong with these ads. Granted, it was that 'YOUR AD HERE!" that was burning my eyes, but these ones are good.

Uh... I'm supposing that this might be related to the changes in ad format, so... am I the only one who is now seeing everything that used to be to the left now centered?

Never mind, I can now see that some other people have mentioned it as well. It's not annoying or anything, I just thought that something might be wrong with my computer.
