Replace "specials" and "defunct" with "songs" and "nonexistent" then you have Justin Bieber in a nutshell :P

Yeah but the biebs likes/used to play hockey so he has at least one redeeming quality.
that and he at least always struck me as a guy who would be kinda cool to hang out with when he isn't making/performing bad pop music.

On another note, a lot of people think Joel Zimmerman (aka Deadmau5) is a huge jerk but I think he'd be an awesome guy to have as a friend.

I don't know much about him other than the fact that he's friends with tommy Lee (which is more awesome than anything I will do ever) but the fact that it might end with me meeting Tommy Lee makes me inclined to agree with you.

He's friends with a lot of popular electronic artists, apparently.
Including Skrillex.

But he doesn't seem too keen on the prospect of living with him.
Live with Skrillex? Yeah ****** right. We'd never have enough tissue.
It'd be like, we wake up in the morning and I'd say "Hi, Sonny" and he'd say
"Maaan, why'd you do that? I was having a good day and then... maaaan..."

Yeah I haven't really heard anything positive about Deadmau5's personality. But that doesn't matter for his music. It's just as good all the same.

Alright, I was wondering something:

At what point will this chat thread get locked down? Is there like a limit to the amount of posts that can show up here, and then there's like a voting for the name of the next chat thread, and then this thread is locked up and thrown in the Dead Thread Bed? Or does it work differently than that?

we close them after 50 pages. If you have an idea for the name of the next one based on some of the conversation within this one, feel free to suggest it at any time.
though the title of the next one is already decided to be something to do with Housefox... actually "something about Housefox" would be a good name

:l I was going to suggest "Invisible Text Colors and All That Jazz" but I guess that I'll just have to wait till next thread.

Oh, I just remembered about the whole thing with 42 XC I must place my foot in my mouth now.

Okay, since 42 is called and I would like to suggest a name, I suggest "The Canine Cavalry" for Thread 43. I'm gonna bet that it's been done before -_-

I vote for that name!!

Also, has any body seen that YouTube commercial with that dead lady telling you not to skip, I was showing my little cousin some Thomas videos when one opened with it, and now he can't sleep without the light being on.

The thing is, you think they would filter which commercials can appear on which video, and the video was only a couple minutes long...and it was Thomas the Train Engine! Why would a horror movie commercial appear on a video aimed at 5 and 6 years old? :|

Why not? I saw "Zombie" when I was 5. Some people say it messed me up... and it has!

But I don't have high hopes for the "Evil Dead" remake. I wish they would remake crappy movies instead of good movies.

Because computers are dumb.

On a related note one of my professors has a cameo in the evil dead remake. The director of the original evil dead is an msu alum and apapently my proffessor has got cameos in several of his films. He's also pretty much the coolest old guy I know.

This guy^
I get to take a class on gender in film with him and he's pretty much everything I aspire to be, which is to say crazy, old, awesome, and well versed in the art of film. He's the professor I ended up writing a paper on Pink Flamingoes for, if that gives you any ideas about what kind of class it is :P

The thing about the original Evil Dead is that the cheesy looking effects were a big part of its charm. It won't transfer that well when you make it look amazing. unless you aim for it to taken completely seriously, which just shouldn't happen.

The way YouTube ads work is they check keywords of your searches and history. So if you view enough things tagged "disturbing," "horror," "creepy," etc. etc. then YouTube will naturally give you ads that are related to those tags. Hence, if you have gone on a disturbing video streak in the past then chances are that YouTube will pop up with that kind of ad, no matter what the context of the video the ad comes up on is.

I think it'll fall into the trap that the remake of dawn of the dead or Rob Zombie's Halloween remake did. It'll be a pretty decent movie that gets a lot of flack because it could never hope to live up to the classic it's remaking. You can't recreate the magic it'd be a better idea to just admit you're making an average horror movie and leave it at that. Unfortunately that's not as profitable as slapping a name people will recognize on it so people will go see it.

...which is why I said they are both loved and hated.

They're only funny if your in to people who have no...limit to how far they will go for a laugh...

Both of them have made racist, sexist, homophobic, ect. jokes, and people love them because they know they're not serious.

Jeff Dunham...has a slightly bigger hate base for...you know who, which is understandable, but lots of people love him anyway

In short...Refuge in Audacity at its finest/worst depending who you are...and this goes for anything on said RiA list.

Personally, I can't get enough of them

I don't usually eat breakfast. Not that I have anything against it, but I stay up too late then prefer having the extra sleep over something in my stomach.

I figured out Wednesday night that fresh buffalo-milk mozzarella is not good for frying. If it's not properly drained, it leaks and falls apart. :?
