That's a shame.

But hey.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn3-asp4TQo

Seems there's a really bad Flash-animated ripoff of Kung Fu Panda in existence. Almost seems like a "so bad it's good" sort of thing.

The animation isn't the most offensive thing. It's moreso the utterly pathetic attempts at humor. Makes me think of a really bad Disney XD-type thing.

But at least Newgrounds animations are usually only done by one person, rather than an "animation company".
And now we know.

My days of watching Toon Disney still haunt me all these years later. Now I can't hear that phrase without remembering...

I still haven't seen any of the Kung Fu Panda movies. I didn't think they would be that good, but it has so many sequels and the TV show on Nick, so it must be somewhat funny.
Also Newgrounds is awesome! It is awesome to see so many different animation styles there.

To minimize the possibility that literally everyone would try to start a new chat thread, making a huge mess, it was long ago decided that only a Not the Comic or global moderator could start new ones. It used to be included in the thread rules, but some jokers took it out after they replaced the old mod.

yeah, experience with the comic discussion thread, actually. once a new arc hits, it's a free-for-all to see who gets to make the new thread. occasionally there's a tie and they have to be combined.

well this'll be weird. if you post through the quote button on an earlier post, or a post that did so, the subject is "Re: Chat Thread 39"
otherwise it's "Re: Chat Thread 39: naming is OUR job =P"

I am. It wasn't fun. *giggles* I'm not sure how many chat threads we ended up with, once. *giggles* That was back in the days when it'd take me a few hours to read just the posts in Not the Comic (due to volume, not inability on my part).

I've come to the conclusion that foxstar does not actually exist and is just a construct used by the other mods to distract posters from their various machinations and plots.

Well, the original movie is pretty fantastic. And though I haven't seen it, the second film looks pretty decent as well.

I never really trust spin-offs though.

Also, on the topic of Newgrounds, I actually tied for first place (ultimately ended up with second since they had to choose one person for the grand prize) in their last voice-over competition. :3 I'm also working on putting together an audio series so I can start putting out some consistent original content. I've got a basic idea down, but it's probably gonna take a while for me to iron out details and put together a semi-cohesive story.

The first Kung-Fu Panda was great, and the second is not too shabby either. Don't trust the TV show. Same goes for How to Train Your Dragon, which is just outright ugly.

Madagascar's TV spinoff introduced an otter, though, so that's a plus. :P

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of either, but I will say that the TV show for How to Train Your Dragon is a lot better than the one for Kung Fu Panda.

Well, I liked the first Kung fu Panda movie, but the second fell flat for me (mostlly because I expected tai lung to return...) and the cartoon pretty much implies that Tai Lung is dead, I think.
As for a children's movie (that is kinda awsome), I can suggest Omae Umasou Dana ("You are Delicious")
Jurassic martiala rts ftw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhcJEdkQrug
This movie ha s a decent story and I'm very happy they didn't use the card of "T-rex learning how to be vegetarian".
It's about a t-rex who was raised by vegetarian dinosaurs who learned the truth about himself in a rather rash way.
