If I knew what I was up for, I would've blew all my money to go do stuff.
I now have to constantly borrow money for gas to go and find a job.

There's a difference between hoarding and saving. Hoarding is when you just like having money and don't ever want to get rid of it. Saving is when you hold on to that money specifically so you can spend it. You might have desire for something that costs a lot, or perhaps you want to be prepared in case something really costly comes up, such as a car repair that is necessary in order to keep your job that you have no other transportation to.

I know alot of people have to be frugal, luckily I don't and can continue to be antastically irresponsible without any major consequences.

I'm a film student we dont reach reality we just become starving artists with pretentiously decorated studio apartments :P
and regardless of whether or not I have good habits reality (as in post college) is still gonna come with alot of growing pains, I'd rather have a few more years of carefree living.

I've never looked at a responsible person and thought "wow they look really carefree. I wish I had my stuff together like them."

I'm a responsible person when responsibility is absolutely necessary. I do irresponsible things sometimes but at the same time stay aware of what could consequently become of it. However, I'm more responsible now than I ever been because I did have to deal with some consequences, but that's life.

I spelled way to many words wrong in this post, wow. *corrects*

Some people aren't as responsible as they seem. Just because someone drives a nice car and has a steady full-time job doesn't mean they have their life in order.

I was refering to someone like my parents, whose lives are incredibly boring because of their various responsibilities.

I thought I was doing pretty good with money when I was in high school. I had a job every summer starting during the break between 8th and 9th grade, though I was doing construction work with a guy from my old church for most of them, so the hours were always sporadic and unpredictable. I tried to save as much as possible, but somehow I'm still running less than 300 bucks right now. I think most of the money I saved up through high school ended up going to pay for freaking books my first couple semesters at college. Which is really depressing and kinda irritating, truthfully. >.>

Being irresponsible does not make your responsibilities go away. It just lets them make you suffer.

Hey at least you have something.
I have about -1500 dollars at the moment

Also, a bit off topic. My parents were extremely irresponsible but still managed to "raise" me to be somewhat responsible.

I think it's just a matter of not wanting to be like your parents
your good life decisions are clearly a phase of youthful rebellion.

Trees are pretty comfy though. The park near my house has several nice trees that I could see myself falling asleep in. :3

I'm taking full advantage of my status as a dependent while I can; saving everything, spending as close to nothing as I can get away with.
JeffCvt wrote:Isn't the point of this thread that you can't get off topic?
Sort of. There's not really any forum-allowed topic that we would bar from discussion in the Chat Thread (although at a certain point, if a thread already exists for it, we'll point you that way so that we don't have duplicates). But just like a real discussion, if you just say random things that have no relation to what's going on, it's not very interesting and it's not really a conversation.

I can't say I remember much about the lyrics. Maybe just nostalgia?

I can understand why it was sad, the only part I heard when I was little was the dragons name and how he lived by the sea.

It's true! Just the other day, a homeless gentlemen drew a rapier and said "Draw coward!"
Of course, by rapier i meant a salami.
I guess the pastrami is mightier than the sword.

I just don't know where he would have gotten that much salami from. We don't have a butchery around for miles...

Of course, it got replaced by some lame show called Planet Sheen. Yeech. No offense to anyone who likes the show, but I disliked every single second of the 30 I spent trying to watch one episode.
