Well an unbaked cake is called cake batter. Whereas the cake is used as an adjective to give the idea that it (the batter) will be a cake after some actions (baking) is done to it.

Where as in my question it's something between a cartwheel and a roll.

lets try it with something else. if you do a back flip, but accidentally land on your back, is it a back flip or just a failed attempt at one?

Depends, did you actually flip first (Back flip, over flip or failed double back flip) or not (fall).

I'd say it should be called a back flop in that case, but that's just me.

A flop is a noisy fall or something.

So it could be

Almost every time i attempt to do a cartwheel I fail, and end up doing a round off instead. It's embarrassing when I see little kids do it perfectly.

What's a round off?

And doing a cartwheel right is kinda scary. At least when you have the thought of ending up in a whiplash as you do it.
Get pass that though and it's enthralling.
Or maybe it's just because I spend 18 hours sitting down and the rest lying down...

A roundoff is similar to a cartwheel, except you land facing backwards. It's used by floor gymnasts to turn themselves around without losing momentum. If you see a floor routine, typically a series of back handsprings/flips will be started with a roundoff.

I really want to learn how to J-kick to the moon and reverse cork-screw. I can do a back flip from standing, but that's about it :(

Assuming one has a foot which places in human size ranges, kicking the moon would likely have very little to no impact on its location and movement.
If your foot, of course, is the size of Australia, then you may be able to produce a more satisfying effect (although whether it is satisfying to the continuation life on Earth could be called into question).

You also must know a very dedicated podiatrist.

Fairly certain a J-Kick is a different movement from a normal kick.

It's called a great deal of many things, but yes, a J-step is one of the names for it.

(And I do want to kick that creepy moon too. Learning the "J-step" would be a very effective way to accomplish this ;D)

If it was a muffin then the craters are where it had rotted, the white dust on its surface are molds and it's so stale it feels like rock.

Why would you eat that? O __o. . .

Would you eat the moon if it were made of barbecue spare ribs?

I would! Heck, I'd have seconds! Then I'd wash it down with a tall, cool Budweiser.

Well that's way better than my idea, though I'd have to wait until it was over Europe so I could drink legally
