I tend to watch Western cartoons. Not as a rule, of course. I just don't feel any particular draw towards Eastern ones.

I like to drink bleach, but I've been told not to do that anymore.

I can't say I'm a superhero aficionado (which is essentially a disclaimer to say "I don't know the first thing about Aquaman or what he does"), but if you think about it, the ability to control water and sea creatures would be rather practical. You'd never starve, die of thirst, drown, or get killed by marine life.

Hey, I watch bleach, Naruto, Pokemon(Yes, this is technically anime), and several obscure animes like Inukami, Onmyou(thanks Ninkurou, for showing me this awesome show), and I-my-me Strawberry Eggs(probably not so obscure, but yeah.).

If a show is anime, it's a cartoon. And yes, Pokémon is anime. It was made in Japan in that style of animation, after all. Why wouldn't it be?

Well, I hate it in general... that's why I've never played the game.
Also, putting powerful animals into particle-compressive balls against the will of the creature (at first) has always freaked me out since I was 6 years old.

Well, that's not true. I should say I've never followed any Pokemon media. I used to watch kids play the card game when it was the hip new thang.

Also, I want to know where the acute accent (which I can't be bothered to type when I say Pokemon) in the name comes from. I know it's a transliteration from Japanese, but to what language, French? It mostly causes people to pronounce it wrong (because that matters) because it looks like "pokie mon" or "pokuh mon" if you ignore the accent, like many English speakers would.
