I Am Wondering

It's been a little over two years now since the whole "soul scattering" thing was first mentioned, and ALMOST two years since we REALLY heard anything about it (should I count January this year?). Was that supposed to be building to something, or was it irrelevant to the story? :| As was pointed out to me, something like "all who do not hold love in their hearts will perish, and their souls broken", etc., sounds a bit dark for a comic like Housepets. What then should I expect, if I should even expect at all? :?

EDIT: Or is what I'm looking at today relevant to that? :?

It was probably just a joke, I'd imagine.

That's why I'm asking. Two years seems a long while to wait. The story arc of Peanut's crush didn't take that long.

Seriously though is that whole prophecy thing from Tarot ever going to come up again?

Do you want a real answer or a cop-out answer?

Cop-out answer is that the comic will have stories in the future, which will be readable, and until those stories are posted for you to see, you cannot read them. If I told you what they were, then you wouldn't have the opportunity to be pleasantly surprised.

Real answer is that I have not intended on letting it drop especially after I made such a big deal over it.

probably. don't assume it's a sure thing, Mr. Griffin.

Hey! I rewrote that after realizing it sounded rather petty

Well I don't really want to know what the actual plan is just if it still had meaning in the comics story line. Thanks for the Answer

Okay. Sorry if I sounded abrasive; I was trying to be funny, but people take forums more srs so I apologize even if it was all in my head.

It's me who should be apologizing. :( It's hard waiting.

I think it's only fair if I get a chance to apologize, too.

Doesn't hurt to be funny. I'm sure everyone likes it when you're posting with that kind of humor. I just think as long as you donèt get too blunt with things it always evens out eventually.

And yes, your fans can get anxious x3

The comics are too fun to just put down, even if we are waiting on something to happen or not. A story is not based on point A and point B, but getting between the two points. Mr. Griffin, just keep doing what your doing and your fans will still remain :)

Yeah, Rick, keep doing what you're doing, with virtually no changes, for decades, despite all the new comic-writing techniques that are introduced to the art form. And then sell a cusston of merchandise.

<imagines Rick still writing THIS comic at 50, snrks>

Seriously, I bring this stuff up because I'm interested in this storyline for all sorts of reasons, and I'm anxious to see it move forward.

I admit I prefer quantity over quality with the Housepets! comic as of late, but that don't mean i want his art to suffer for it. Hell, i rather he find a faster way to write his current comics faster =3

But more importantly, why is everyone confessing that they would read this comic til the end when it was obvious to begin with? <3

:P

Sinder did illustrate, though, my tendency to take and expect everything literally. There's one instance, though, that I hope I'm right. You know, I also rarely REALLY considered that King's current story arc and the story of "soul scattering" might NOT be one and the same. :?
