That chatroom is still for talking, and just talking (While obeying the rules, that is). However, as you can all see, it turned to a graveyard.

Hawaii - I want you to say it here, because by saying it here, you will get the opportunity to straighten the problem out with the person you're avoiding, since you don't want to do it in the chatroom. All you guys have as a weapon is a dramatic leaving and never returning, and that isn't such a good idea.

I've noticed that people seem to be joining and then leaving less than a minute later, and it seems to me like they join, see that there's not many people there and then leave.

Well guys, all you can do now is forgive the person who angered you, and go back to the chatroom, and forget about all the bad things that happened. That way, you will revive it. But if you don't want to do that, then I guess you can stay out of it, a moderator will lock this thread, and I will put the channel to invite only, so no-one can get in there. If you can't forgive and forget, then you don't deserve to even talk for a minute with someone. Use the chat thread.

Alright, so, I'm on Windows 7, and I can't use mIRC, because it needs a program called Microsoft Agent to run, and Microsoft Agent isn't part of Windows 7. However, i can download a hotfix for Microsoft Agent, but when I do, I can never find it, and it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

If you have Fire fox you can get the Add on Chatzilla, it's what I currently use.

once you get it running (or if, you might not use Chatzilla) just follow the guide on page one from number 4, without starting mIRC of course.

Download ice chat and follow the first post to join. Works for me.

Or you could just click the above link(the one that goes to the flash irc client) and done.

It seems really limited on options and features, Ice can do a lot of stuff, plus keep logs.

Who needs features? It's nice and minimal. What do you expect from a flash chatroom?

Many people do need features. It's called development you know? If everybody kept everything as simple as possible, we would still live in caves. For example mods would need logs, to have evidence if something happened in the channel against rules, especially when they weren't present, but kept their client running. Also it's much more convenient for people to have standalone clients, because they can also easily connect to multiple channels, even multiple servers, have everything configured the way they want it and customized (if some client was actually HP related, I would expect it to have at least Housepets-like color theme, possibly some picture in background, but decent, so it won't disturb), including their own scripts/commands and many other stuff that makes things actually simpler and more comfortable, which is not possible with such Flash client, unless you connect it with some user account, where settings and such will be stored and I believe that many would rather choose some trustworthy service for this, even with more functionality and flexibility. Also standalone client can start automatically and run all the time, so they don't even have to click to an link. And I would actually expect a lot more from flash chatroom, since this platform is capable of much more.
