The final nominees for the Annual Anthropomorphic Literature and Arts Awards (the Ursa Major Awards) have been announced, and once again, Housepets! is one of the finalists! (You can see the full list of nominees here.) Rick won the award for Best Comic Strip last year thanks to our help, so this year, why not try for a twofer?

Here's how to vote:

- Go to http://ursamajorawards.org/voting2010/

- Request a voting key by entering a valid e-mail address into the proper field, and hitting the "Send Key" button. Once you have received your key in the mail, return to the same page and paste it into the "Key" field, and hit the "Log In" button to access the ballot.

- While the ballot asks for your personal information, the only required field is "Name", which doesn't have to be your real name. This information is used to help separate individual votes from one another.

- On the ballot, five nominees are listed per category (six, if there was a tie for fifth place). Next to each nominee are buttons for first, second, and third place (and "none"). The ballot asks you to rank your choices according to which you like best; so, for example, if you think Housepets! deserves to win in the Best Comic Strip category, click "1" next to the comic's name, for first place, and rank your other choices accordingly. You don't have to pick three choices per category; you can pick only one, or two, if you prefer. It is also not necessary to vote in every category; you can abstain by leaving your choice set to "none".

- When you're finished, take a moment to review your choices, then hit the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page. Remember, your ballot will only be recorded if you've entered a name as part of your personal information. That's it, you're done!

- Only submit one ballot. You can log in to change your choices any time before the voting deadline, but DO NOT create extra ballots using multiple e-mail accounts. Vote-stacking is expressly forbidden, and will result in all of your votes being disqualified. It is, however, okay to tell your friends and ask them to cast a vote.

The deadline for voting is April 17. Once the polls close, all the votes will be counted. The awards are determined by popular vote, so the nominees with the most votes in each category will be the winners!

Well, I just voted. I was surprised at how many sections I was able to vote in. I know more furry stuff than I realized!

Come on!!! Only twenty two days left, if all the people of the Housepets! comunity vote and tell their friends that vote, Housepets! could be winner!!! So spread to everybody peolple .
