This topic is ridiculous. its possible it will be locked for being stupid.

BUT IT JUST BUGS ME.

how is res's name pronounced do you think? so it rhymes with fez, or so it rhymes with mess, or do you think the q is silent and its pronounced bob?

I'm gonna go with "Rez" as in resolution or reservation because it just makes sense.
Also Dictionary.com lists the latin Res as "reez or reys". "Reys" sounds a lot like "Rez"
