You know, dude, I've been thinking, maybe you could translate the alt-text and write it under the comic, too. Although it's a bit too late now, since the alt-text first started with the "A Mouse named Spo" arc.

All done! In bold the alt-text translation. In italic the comic title translation.
Startin monday, said translated title will be enclosed in the strip, as Lopiko does with his work
Thank you for your patience

Bill already said, in the 3rd panel's translation, that he believed the steak was cooked ('cucinare'), so, to save space, I didn't think it was necessary to repeat said concept. But if you want to, I can correct the 4th panel's translation.

So is zucche just like . . . a gourd? Because I know American English borrows 'zucchine' which I assume is a little gourd, not a little pumpkin

E ora, back to the show!

I don't know why I haven't paid much attention to this thread yet, considering I've taken three years of Italian while in High School. It's empowering to be able to understand what's written in these versions (and not just because I've already read the english version, thank you very much)

In Italian, Elmer's way of talking was limited to the so-called 'french R', thus came the idea of quoting his traditional opening line about hunting rabbits 'Ssssh, sono a caccia di conigli!'
