I don't tell embarrassing stories about my ex anyway, so yeah, ambiguous.

Sabrina is a cat, so that means she loves causing harm. Since she doesn't want to kill animals, she has to take out out on Max by embarrassing him as much as possible.

The first thing I thought to myself was "How did Max ever manage to date Sabrina?" Just from pure nothingness it seems to be that Sabrina should be out of his league.

The second thing I thought was the humour that'd be involved (way down the line anyway, breakups in general aren't funny when they happen) if Grape does break up with Max for Peanut. Getting dumped for a dog twice probably makes you start thinking about things.

You know what I think this Twist would qualify as a Shocking Swerve trope as there was no (As far as I remember since neither of them have been in the same panel together until now nor did they ever mention each other before.) foreshadowing of this twist at all.

You know, I'd be really surprised if someone hasn't thrown the Max+Sabrina theory out there before, what with all the shipping around here. It actually seems like a fairly logical conclusion: they're both cats, they have similar fur color, and they're complete opposites in personality.

Of course we need a name for this ship now...Maxbrina? Sabrinax?
