Oddly, this reminded me of a cross between a Dr. Seuss book and one of Data's poems from Star Trek: The Next Generation.... :?

And now every song sounds like Pachelbel's Canon in D.... :P

I loved that "iambic pentameter" lyric, though! :D That was gold!

Does anyone else think the images remind of "We're gonna go see Uncle Reuben! We're gonna go see Uncle Reuben!"?

Yay, those two! My guess: Keys is the boy, Fiddler is the girl.

I especially loved the semirhyme semirhyme.

...Wait, if this is still in Theme Park World, where exactly are they performing? Who's watching? I'm curious about the context.

But how can they perform while playing bumper cars?

In all seriousness, though, Rick, that was masterful. Well done

And, of course, everyone will think it's some kind of CRAZY ride despite the fact that this here attraction is probably the only one that matches up with its name. Theme park live shows can be amazing sometimes!

And, yeah, nice comic song! And the alt-text was quite funny.

I honestly wasn't expecting too much. :? I didn't think this arc could beat "The Dog Days of Summer" by a long shot. But I admit, this new arc impresses me. :P It's just too awesome...way too awesome. I can't wait for the next strip! =D (btw, this one with fiddler and keys is my new fav strip)

This is when I wish I had more musical senses so I can play the song in my mind.

I love how Fiddler and Keys stopped playing music and danced instead at panel 4! I bet the music was still playing too. They always do in musical cartoons.

Considering they were having dinner in "n-ple Date", it's likely they're in a relationship. My guess is Keys is the boy. I think Fiddler is a girl, but I don't know for sure. See: Mr. Bigglesworth.

I never knew freestyling was possible with a keyboard and a piano.

Freestyling is possible with everything. Just... play and sing along. They look like experienced musicians anyway.

And I guess that Keys is female.

But don't you understand? Any mystery is PAINFUL to fans, and that means they're involved!

This is why professors love obtuse literary fiction that never says anything substantial. The less that's explained, the better the story!

In an episodic medium, however, the more secrets you keep from the fans, the easier it is to satisfy them! You just have to reveal one answer every time they get complacent, so it keeps them on their toes.

Somehow, I see Fiddler & Key's genders to be lower on that list.
