You gotta listen to all the instructions, or you make yourself look like a camel.

Well... At least Pete left a message

Now Rick, is the whole process digital or are you sketching phisically like you used to ?

Digital inking is usually cheaper and faster as well, isn't it? If not, then feel free to throw a boot at me.

I'm totally convinced Rick is using Thomas as an excuse to draw more camels now. x3

Well it's not like physical inking is all that expensive to do, it's basically pennies per page, if that. (Physical coloring, now THAT gets expensive)

But it IS a lot faster. I decided to switch mainly because I was playing it too safe with my physical inks; I'd end up leaving nearly whole pages to "do in post" because inking them fully was either too complicated or too time-consuming. And my digital inking technique has gotten a lot better since I got some new tools and have gotten so much practice in.

He gains a truly new perspective

Petes’ recorded warning comes too late,
just as he knew it really should;
confirming the golds’ contaminated state
just as we knew he probably would.

The transparency thing with Pete certainly shows the advantage of digital tools as well. New tools always seems to be the answer :3

Cool cool, I think the only "downside" is that from now on there aren't going to be new originals to buy in your store, but then again, I don't think that's really a downside. And there are still plenty of strip-originals left.

And you'll have more freedom with each panel's dialogue !

Two forces you can't fight - progress and finances. It works for me, Rick, and it is your world - we're just privileged to visit.

The jewel bag seems to have lost its violet, radioactive glow. Is there only one spell per gold pile or did Pete have a group plan?

As noted, Thomas did share the potion with Sophie, suggesting he's not a total cad. Still, Sophie's concern iprobably arises more from her intrinsic big-heartedness than Thomas's worthiness.

And what does this imply for our rollicking spelunkers? Regards.

I like how the shaded part of his muzzle represents his former mustache. A nice touch. <3

Hmmm, do wonder though if the curse changes you into whatever animal you've had the most recent contact with. What if he had been using a donkey instead?

Oh, look who is (almost) back... :P Thomas looks good as camel, he even kept the moustache-like muzzle! Right, he's also naked. :D So, this is a sort of registered hologram of Pete? Or maybe, it's his ghost? In any case, nothing of him left the temple. ;) And yes, as I thought, the temple treasure is cursed. :P Good you put the bag back, camel Thomas, but maybe, to return as human, you should exit from the room despite the small entry... Ain't that Pete now wants to play again with an human like he did with Joel? :?
The digital inking looks very good, I can notice that there's a little more cleaning with the stretches, but the overall difference is pretty imperceptible. ;)

Your right, gamepopper, Sofie's facial expression really is endearing. She looks so earnest and concerned, it makes a touching contrast to Thomas's befuddled panic.
