Actually I looked back over the pages with King and that seems to be the only one where his collar buckle IS round. Elsewhere it seems to be more of a rounded square or rectangle....

And that's exactly what I meant about him seeming short.

Character development! I didn't get the joke, but King in all the outfits made me laugh nontheless (I called a friend over so he could explain that joke, so there's no need to explain it)!

Also nice job noticing this, I didn't noticed a slight change!

While i get the joke, sometimes i can't help but call him Edward Elric.

Just don't call him shorty!

I don't know how that could possibly correlate.

So, does that mean you know if the uniforms of the French Foreign Legion match to Golden Retrievers?

The pets would be wearing the uniform of the country their breed comes from.

How can you tell that he's shorter when he's the only one in the photo? You don't have anything to compare him to.

this is probably drawn from perspective. And im pretty sure he didn't magically shrink. and no, i don't think Pete shrunk him.

Looking at it I kind of agree this might be a matter of perspective more then the fact that he shrunk.

I have to go with what my brother said and say that it does not matter if Rick decides to change his art style a bit. I mean, it still is the same King, except now he looks more kid-like and more huggable. Think of the bright side in these things instead of noting out all the "flaws". I know I am way late in actually saying this, since it has died down, except I am pretty sure that Rick does not appreciate all the criticism on his new drawing style (I can not speak for him though).

I agree, it does look like it's just a perspective thing. And Flint, he does look more huggeable!!!!

As for the collar buckle thing, maybe he just has multiple collars? Or maybe it's a webcomic that may have some inaccuracies from time to time.

I don't know about everyone else, but I wasn't meaning it as criticism. It's just that King is my favourite character, so I was mentioning that I thought he looked different. I have got used to King in the 'previous' style (Assuming there has actually been a style change), and thought it was a little odd is all. It's not neccessarily a bad change, but it was one that I noticed.

I think we need to all remember that this is has nothing to do with the comic. So Rick probably didn't really care if he looked "off," "smaller," "unproportional" and etc. Just stop criticizing it had enjoy the randomniss of it.

I like the gentleman suit and the sailor outfit the best! And he should have done a king outfit. Complete with a robe, crown and scepter.

Although he also suddenly loses and regains arm muscle in between the baseball and sailor outfits

Erm. In the pose with the basketball, you're seeing King's arm from the side; in the baseball one, you're seeing it from the top. Doesn't your arm have the appearance of greater breadth when viewed from above than it does when seen from the side?

Basketball pose is 3/4.

Nope. And even if it did, and it was relevant, contrast the size of his shoulder joint and the ratio of arm:forearm to the others.
