2017/04/21 - So How Many Were There Again?

Post by D-Rock »

[2017/04/21 - Title ]
Title Text: Also, I hope you didn't misplace our fourth pup, Melville! Ha ha, that's just a little joke we have...Peanut?

See, King, with all of your worrying, you forgot some of the most basic things to know.
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

So the canon name for the fourth pup would be Melville... Odd name.

Ya'know King, that was a pretty odd way to phrase that in the 3rd panel... And now look at Peanut

I think it's supposed to be odd, like the kind of joke name you would make up on the spot (to try to make the joke obvious).

I tried to look up things that would connect to the name scheme, and all I found was a guy who wrote hymns in the late 1800s named Herman Melville King, and a Melville Hotel located at Kings Cross in London.

I'm pretty sure those are just coincidental.

Smiley faced, and fast pawed,
Grape puts doubt to the sword
and there’s every chance she
did enough to satisfy our Bailey.
Peanut’s shaking up a Samba
suited for the palace at Alhambra
more than it is a suburban home -
he’s really not back in the zone.
King adds to the canine panic;
Peanut drops like the titanic
He really must remain calm;
it’s just the baby monitor alarm.

Given the evidence I'd say around 15 years old.

Well it's 1=3.5, so it's more about 16ish.

Anyways, are the pads on Peanut's feat a new thing? It looks weird

Now I really hope that Lucretia is told soon that everything's alright, so that she forgives Peanut (and Grape?)...
And I hope that she doesn't tell Bailey before (nor after) being told herself that none of the pups were ever missing.
Unless Grape has already talked to Lucretia?

Like that touch of Peanut praying like nothing's going to happen to him. =P

King just showed Grape a new way to invent sleeping on the job. x3

Ahahah, poor Peanut, that's still not over! :lol: :P Yeah, everything is fine, obviously. :D The pups are sleeping at that time of the day, and they've been always three. ;) Eheh, be careful to the words you're using, King. :D I see this story tormented you, Peanut, but come on, King said "something's missing", not "someone's missing"! :P Oh, Peanut is now... dead? :? It can't be, he just faint, he's a strong doggie. ;)

Kind of like Phooey, Donald Duck's fourth nephew whenever an artist makes a mistake?

That would be funny, but surely GK has other things to do besides continuously mess with a handful of pets in this one suburb. There's a whole multiverse out there.

The thing is, GK can be anywhere at once. That's the thing about subjective time.
