Good for you Fox, but for the record, don't bottle up your emotions.

Great that Fox finally let it all out. He should do that more next time.

An infection under the skin

Ah well that certainly explains a lot. I hope that made him feel at least somewhat better.

Not 100% sure but I think he is referring to them not telling him about their relationship and him feeling like an idiot when it got revealed.

The title of this strip leads me to believe that their will be bigger explosions in future arcs. Yay

Oh that's just one of those negative feelings that don't make any sense. Guilty people tend to have this experience. He never wanted to have to deal with his negative emotions, so when they were put into conflict with his positive emotions of still supporting Fido when he let the cat out of the bag he was forced to deal with his actual feelings but couldn't figure out why he couldn't get over it. So confused and panicking mentally he looked for someone to put the blame on, which could easily be pinned on Fido and Sabrina despite them not actually doing anything to him, but their events were the reason these emotions were brought out.

In other words, he's still being stupid. But he's admitting he's being stupid, so it makes it better?

I read it as implying there will be smaller explosions in this arc.

I'm glad that the Fox-Fido&Sabrina issue is finally being dealt with!

And I still don't hate you and Fido! But how can I possibly fix that if I'm still angry even when I don't want to be?!

So by "fix that", does Fox mean that he wants to reconcile with Fido, accept his love relationship with Sabrina and become friends with her (and thus finally get over his dislike of cats and cat-lovers)?

Poor Fox. All that wasted energy that he could have used walking through the door. Just gone. Poof. For nothing.

Well Fox, you must feel better now. I like the complete U-turn of current emotions and thoughts they had. From the angry to fun loving and teasing Sabrina and from the "I'm having an inner crisis right now" to the embarrassed and "what just happened?" Fox.

*Gasp* Fox blushed. Fox & Sabrina confirmed. *bricked*

On a serious note, glad he got that off of his chest. I'm also glad Sabrina is letting him off easy. I had this feeling Sabrina could've looked at this situation much different than Fox, but here we are - easily forgiven. Helps he's been around Fido so long =P

I love Sabrina's little tail flick in Fox's face. So typically cat. LOL.

Oh, I had forgotten about Sabrina and Fido's little dalliance.

Fox already has Sasha. Well, right now he has to save her from hypnosis/manipulation first.
And I'll always be a huge fan of the Fido-Sabrina couple

Agreed. First thing I thought when I read Fox's outburst was, "Oh, that's *so* like King!" Both of them tend to bottle up their inner conflicts; perhaps this similarity of character is part of why they hit it off so quickly as friends.

Huh, a lot of the animals in Housepets! have more emotional depth than one or two humans I've come across in real life. Such consistently excellent work from Rick.

Excluding the arcs that were split into parts, is 'K9PD' the longest one to date?

I also wonder if the darker inking style that Rick has recently adopted for A&H Club is starting to show its influence here. The dark spot at Fox's throat in frame 2, for example.

I like this. Fox has always been somewhat of an underdeveloped character, so it's good seeing a bit more to him!

I've always had a fondness for this little moment of reconciliation. Don't know what brought me back to it. Still expecting Fox and Fido to finish what Sabrina began. Just a sweet little moment where two characters, both rather stressed, open themselves to each other.
