2016/10/07 - Living Legend

Post by D-Rock »

[2016/10/07 Living Legend ]
Title Text: okay, one time you see this Randy Beeman took something from the little house and didn't put it back and then he was sleeping and heard a knock at the door and it was the spirits and the spirits rose out of the woods and took his soul away. 's true. kay, bye.

Have to agree with his logic there.
Faith doesn't change circumstances. Faith changes me.

I can totally see some of the raccoons totally starting a war between Sasha and Jess now for the Opener.

The cub's got a point about legends sounding cooler when they're vague.

The Traveler.
I love how they can come up with legends. The forest lore must be really something! :D

Knowing the story of a real life legend
is less cool than knowing the legend herself;
which is why, if you take something,
it has to go right back up on the shelf.
Now he’s calm and they can talk to the cub
they just might find Sasha’s on the brink
and, if anyone can help the two now,
it just has to be the great Custom Ink.
Walking their path, through the ferals
and on, Mungo and Fox follow their lead;
And we’ll follow them down the rabbit-hole;
every thought, every action, every deed.

I love the Animaniacs ref in the alt text. You also have to admit the little racoon has a point about vague legends :mrgreen:

By the way, am I the only one, who imagines the little racoon with the voice of Cubbi from Gummi Bears :?:

It'll be even cooler when she finds a dog shaped car to travel in.Wonder if we'll find out if Pete was just blowing smoke up King's collar when he told him that he needn't worry about her, that she's "protected".

You're such a good story tellers, little raccoon. :D Anyway, he's too young to know that can't tell fake stories to a police officier... :P As expected, Sasha isn't there. So, she travels around? If the raccoon mom knows more about Sasha, would be better go to talk with her. :)

Blah.... That sounds like a terrible legend title. Its far too common and clearly denotes that you have a degree in something. Its needs to be something unique that isn't given to most people but also is sorta mysterious so your not totally sure why there called that.

Though i am curious why she is a legend among the raccoons. unless of course its just that one trying to build things up to be special. Perhaps we will get a deeper look into Sasha.

There was a king of Spain called Ferdinand, which in latin means "the traveler" ...he didn't do a lot of traveling but sent a lot of people to his colonies in the Americas

What? Where did you hear that translation? I can't think of any roots for "Fernando" in Castilian or Aragonese that come remotely close to traveler

Edit: It comes from german "Firthunandus" (Firthu meaning peace, liberty), "Friede- and nands" in modern german (bold, brave, temerary) according to the spanish article on Wikipedia
