Heh I still love the heck out of how they spell things
Re: 2014/03/12 - Forgot His Towel
Cute woodland critters playing tag in the background! Such fun they have in the woods.
At least he mentions that he does not have rabies.

Sorry Fals, but it looks like you'd get there sooner by just walking, even if you bring your sign.

YAY TRUCK AND FALSTAFF (well Falstaff) STRIP!!!!!, I wonder... does anyone have any idea why he could be wanting to go there this time? Rescue Truck? See the Opener?Do other crazy T&F things?
Also RUN LITTLE CRITTER RUNN!!!! Yes I know I'm a carnivore too but that would be a light snack for me, so I always cheer em on.
I wonder why Falstaff isn't doing anything to help him...?

I think this is to do with Truck's last mention of Fals. That Animal Control had done a 'catch and release' some distance away.RatHead wrote:YAY TRUCK AND FALSTAFF (well Falstaff) STRIP!!!!!, I wonder... does anyone have any idea why he could be wanting to go there this time? I've walked three months since dumped here,
outside my natural environment and in a city.
I want to get home, I want to have Truck near;
please, humans, won't one of you show pity?
They wouldn't believe the things I've seen
whilst out in the wild humes call civilisation
I can tell you that the forest's never been
as bad as that on the Animal satellite station!
I've seen a man with a twenty inch plate
eat more food in one sitting than I get in a week.
I've seen him lift up his massive, porcelain slate
and ask for rice pudding – what a cheek!
I've seen what these guys throw away
from palaces of food unlike the garden
I've seen human gluttony hold sway,
feasting and gorging as arteries harden
I've seen our kind run in the light and play
I've seen human friendship so, beg my pardon,
Let me just say this. I'd love your help
to get me where I belong, to show you're kind
doesn't deserve all I've said today but I'll not yelp
for it, I have my pride I think you'll find
but I have to know – did Truck get to Tum?
Did he save that little boy's life? Was it worth it?
Did I sacrifice for naught or did we save him?
I must know. Home I must go.
Help me, please?

Thanks. It's quite easy when Rick manages to elictic such emotion from a singular, silent, frame. I extrapolated from the general fed-up-ness on Falstaff's face and the hinted background city as to how far he's come.Render wrote:Too bad if you forget your towel...

I wonder, how is he literate? (well at least to a certain extent literate) I mean, the zoo animals are illiterate, but they've probably been exposed to language (ie. there are signs all around the zoo and they meet humans every day)
If language comes naturally to all sentient species in the HP universe (assuming that all zoo animals can read and write now, and can at least have a fair chance in the multi species scrabble tournament) then the question would be: why is he (again, to a certain extent) illiterate?
I'm probably thinking too much into this.

Re: 2014/03/12 - Forgot His Towel
Poor Falstaff, the animal control relocated him again, and he's not happy of that. I know, the city is a much better place to find food. Truck isn't going to find you and nobody seem to get what's written there, so, pack up the trouble and start to move on with your legs.
Yeah, squirrels are totally adorable, also for the eagle that's chasing that poor one. Somebody help him/her, indeed! Do it, Falstaff!
Great work with drawing the details, though.
