So this arc is going to teasingly not quite be stories from around the wolf house? I like that idea :-)

I love these cubs! Especially their faces in panel #2.

It's time for tales for curious cubs,
of Cream cakes and buns and biscuit.
and all the good things you don't hunt
unless you really want to risk it.
They charge an arm and a leg for the right
to stalk them down the shop aisle;
and the manager can hunt you and ban you
if that thing on his face isn't a smile.
They become much easier to hunt at home,
lying on the counter top. Their instinct
to survive repressed by being dough,
their taste and sugar and calories linked.
Beware the perils of such an easy hunt.
Being unhealthy like that isn't a stunt.

The expression on Fat-Daryl's face is hysterical!
I wonder what other tales from the wolf household will be uncovered in this arc? I'm interested to know how Uncle Dead-Eye got so awesome.

aaand the adorbs level just skyrockets.

Gasp! The other Daryl WASN'T fat back then!

I could never tell the cubs apart, but I'm guessing Deathaxe, Rockstar, Sanchez from left to right?

Of all the names wore than one wolf would choose, you'd think it'd be something cooler than Daryl...

Then again, the two of them are kinda dopey, so....

Yes, he was. If you look closely at the strip, you can see the bottom edge of Fat-Daryl's stomach. And even here, it's quite round.

Want to know how he got so fat? Look at what he's doing right now and multiply it lot of times, to get the reply! That first panel, there's also the little Rodney's cub, and they're all are so adorable! :D
So, these stories are all about the wolves' crew...

Since the wolves choose their own names when they come of age, he probably found the poncho, and decided that would be his name.

I always enjoyed story time as a kid, so this is exactly what I would have done!

Poor Fat Daryl, always eating to drown out what he wants to forget...... I bet.Heck, I don't know.
