The more and more I think about how Rick said we're gonna hate him for this Arc, the more and more I start to fear something going terribly wrong between King and Bailey, and starting it off with Bino and Sasha is just a red herring.

Though I'm sure that's just paranoia talking.

I doubt Rick will want to overuse King like that.

The setup for this arc feels so classic, but I think that's what the foreshadowing is meant to be: Bino is acting like he knows what he's doing, but something will quickly change that once they go see the movie. I'm hunching that Bino isn't the only one with similar plans as his tonight, but everyone either goes to a more suitable movie than the one him and Sasha are going to, or in a amusing sense ~ everyone else goes to see the movie too, but Bino just can't stand being there with everyone else.

Rick said this has nothing to do with King. My bet is that Sasha will get nightmares from this movie.

... Something just dawned on me, but I'm beginning to wonder if Rick worries what we think of him not because something will happen to Bino or Sasha, but what Bino and Sasha are really like while dating?

Fox going from surprised to not surprised may have something to do with that =P

I still think my big WMG of Bino wanting to trump King's coming dog wedding with one of his own is in play.

Well, I think the tittle of this arc is a bit suggestive, don't you think? XD For what we could tell, it's going to be "a war of love" as a way to sum up the entire arc.

My guess is this: Bino goes to see the movie with Sasha when he found Duchess is there too, and meanwhile Sasha is focused in the movie, he try to do his move with Duchess, but then he realize she comes with someone else, and that could be Fido, and this causes him burst in anger and then try to ruin their date. And to ruin everything, considering how she like this sort of things, Sabrina shows up to see the movie, but instead she sees her boyfriend with someone else, and then ... dun dun dun. Who knows, maybe something that bad to cause people hate Rick? I hope not.

And about Fox, considering his personality, he's not the type of guy to have a girlfriend but rather a fangirl. A stalker fangirl. It would be funny to see it. And knowing how smart he is, it could be even a cat.

This arc is a bit more gimmicky than that. Also, I should note the moment I say "everyone will hate me" in jest, the first thing that jumps to peoples' minds is that I will ruin their experience with this comic.

Talking seriously, I was joking too, it's not like I'm going to hate you just because I don't like something that happens in the comic. And I doubt that anyone could hate you for something as simple as that. Maybe one would be a bit upset, but "hate" it's a strong word. And besides, it would be boring if everything goes as people expected all the time. It's good a bit of conflict once in awhile.

And about the arc, I just throw the first thing that come to my mind. It's not as if I was expecting to happen exactly that.
Whatever you have prepared for us surely it will be enjoyable and funny. So please don't regret from nothing, and no matter what people say, just do what you have planned.

Heh, anyone stop to think that his statement is a self fulfilling prophecy? He said that everyone would hate him by the end of this because everyone will once they realize nothing like that happens this arc!

Fox needs a date now. Just seems logical, unless he was raised by Vulcans or something.

I just noticed the Rick did end up making Bino a bit pudgier. He hid it by keeping his belly out of frame so far, but he's definitely a bit pudgier.

Tiger too, but you cane barely tell at the angle he was shown.

It makes enough sense that Bino has put on the pounds so to speak, he is kind of lazy.

That being said, I am becoming fairly interested in the potential for character advancement in this arc.
Maybe Bino is becoming more mature, though that doesn't make him any less rude or annoying.
Even though i've only seen the first page of the arc perhaps Fox will grow into his character by facing some challenges or making tough decisions (same for Bino).
I can't help but think that Fox has been fairly mellow in the comic arcs that he's been in recently.
I know that characters can be completely content with their lives but that usually doesn't equal out to a well rounded or interesting personality.
There has to be SOMETHING (besides the all but inevitable resolution to the Joel/King story) that Fox himself must have to deal with or some obstacle he has had to overcome to become the cool customer and (mostly = Bino/tough love) all-round nice guy that he is today.
Heck maybe Sasha will have a revelation about herself or her love life and will finally start to stand up for herself.
It's even possible that other characters will surprise us with modest changes.
Now I will just have to be patient and wait to see what happens!

Frankly, that guy is active to a dangerous point, always taken in some project for the club or fighting with Max, or...everything else. he also got a MEGA-ball, and that's not a toy to sit idle with!
perhaps Rick gave him a pudgier appearance according to whatever breed he's mixed with (beagle?), but lazy Bino is NOT

also, if a MEGA-ball isn't a toy to sit idle with, why is Bino literally sitting idle with it in its first appearance?

Are pets allowed to see films intended for adult humans? That sounds R-rated for sure.

That's a very good question.

I would say probably not these ones, at least. I imagine they aren't 17 yet.
