Grape is amused. That's awesome. She has to be thinking about her and Peanut with them two, but in a more brotherly sense. =3

It's nice to hear that Max does indeed consider Bino and Peanut as options for his party. And now that Bino is picking on him (Megaball!) this makes me love MAx and Bino much more.

Next Stop: Mall for Laser pens for Bino.

Is it just me or did that Bailey Punch! give Bino a slight attitude adjustment? He seems less... I don't know less wicked or something?

I don't think Bino is EVIL or anything, I believe the word "petty" fits his personality quite well. As i'm sure y'all know he's very introverted like a spoiled brat, it should not be a reason to be blatantly bias towards him. Just give him a chance people, even Bino as selfish as he seems has a good side to him. Remember the 1st Housepets! christmas strip?

Bino, isn't your face sore? Chewing on that ball right now wouldn't feel good at all!

I was gonna say something about what a shame it is to be allergic to something as delicious as crawfish, but then I realized that even without an allergy, I haven't had a single crawfish in almost a decade. So I guess I, personally, wouldn't be missing out on much if I were allergic.

Lactose intolerance. Now *that's* a bummer.

His attitude toward Maxwell seems on-par with "We're Snowed In" to me.

How did he survive on the grill of a truck? He must be able to hang on and hide for quite some time. Also, I wonder if the implication is true; that Falstaff knows how to drive an automatic transmission how did he manage to learn how to do it?

Best way to drive a stick: threaten a human driver with a stick until he drives you where you want.

I have a very bad feeling about two things:

1) They steal the truck before Jeff gets the crawfish.

2) This ends with Bill and Fox wearing two pair of coonskin caps. :(

Well, I now like truck more than Falstaff. Let us see if Falstaff can catch up!

I bet if the coons just ask, Max would invite just to make Bino mad.

You know, Falstaff's comment insinuating that he knows how to drive an automatic makes me think. I wonder if helper dogs for the blind or otherwise handicapped can attain special permits or something... :|

And then after a night of partying, Max and Grape start their own club ~ of Cats and Raccoons.

Luckily, Max doesn't have to run into Fido's scenario ~ Grape is feared.

As for helper dogs, I'm with the idea that they get license or diploma for it. Or a highly snassy collar =P

I'm sure they can it would help out way to much for them not to be able to.

lol loving Fox’s face in the third panel. Was Truck just hitting the peddle with the stick?

They obviously don't know how to drive a car with a stick shift. It also doesn't help that Truck was using his stick to change gears! (how would he know what gear to set in anyway?)

Having only semi-recently learned how the flagellin a stick-shift works, I find this comic a lot funnier than I might have otherwise. It ain't easy if you've never learned the process!

And thus, Fox was knighted half of Bill's crawfish for his heroic efforts.

Though it looks like the end for those two, I bet they have one more trick up their sleeves. =3

They make quite a team. I am sorry, but Truck's comment reminds me of Jeff Dunham's puppetry.

Fox soundly threw them out and crushed their dreams most expertly!

Love how the alt. text is high brow with the title being slang.

Ok, obviously more issues there then most suspected there was. I don't think that was any kind of clean break up, at least from Max's side anyway

Max is probably perturbed by the fact that Sabrina dumped him for Fido. I don't know exactly what happened but it certaintly has Max peeved.

Considering Fido's popularity, Max is probably some type of jealous, even though he'll never admit it.

Ontop of that, having your Ex date someone that is considered popular and from a opposing species could drive a deep ego wedge into someone like Max who looks to be striving for popularity. However, it's a matter if he already knows or not. I'm just worried he might end up doing something foolish from it someday.

I find it funny though that Max isn't considering calling Sabrina to the party though. His comment on the last panel is more directed from the Halloween incident i'm sure (Said Meatgrinder was Spookmaster, afterall.) and that would be a valid reason, but considering he's already done Macbeth and Guys and Dolls with her, I would figure he'd be willing to give her some slack. Then again, He could be worried that she'll do something similar again, and at his party no doubt.

Interestingly enough though, If Max is trying to balance out the species in the party, I doubt he'll be able to if he keeps on inviting family pets. His only option if Sabrina is left out? Invite Joey in his cat suit. At least it'll make it a family party =P

How do we know he knows that? There are many other points where that kind of acrimony could've developed. Particularly "Scaredy Cats".

They should invite Fiddler and Keys.

I'm not even sure if Max even knows that Joey is a dog, sometimes housepets can be a little dense. Anyone remember when Peanut and Max found out that Grape was a girl?

It's a little bit easier to know someone is another species than to know they're another gender.

He knows Joey is a dog that dresses in a cat suit, he found out about it sometime before The Great Water Balloon War, likely because Grape told him.
