And then Rodney and Snow faced personal insolvency due to lacking family planning, Rod began to drink and beat Snow and seven of their litter of twelve landed in jail.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

King: "I didn't know you were planning"
Rodney: "We didn't! Isn't it great?"

.....Weren't..... planning?!

...Uh, Rick, before I say anything, I usually don't get nit-picky about this stuff and I trust you enough to know that you won't do anything extreme with the comic and I still love Friday's strip to death, but I'm getting some suggestive and very awkward implications here.
...
Wait, what am I saying?! Please, I'M SORRY, RICK!!!! DON'T BRING THE BANHAMMER DOWN ON ME, PLEASE!!!! I MEAN NO DISRESPECT!!!! *crawls into the corner, curls into fetal position, drowns in tears*

Awkward as in how Rodney and Snow are going to raise their cubs i presume. The other wolves raised their cubs in the woods. Rodney and Snow more than likely won't, so it's safe to assume they are thinking it's just like out in the wild where there are no rules. With the ferrets supporting them though, they probably aren't going to notice.

If Baily and Kings break up, Housepets breaks up with it. I'm sure that won't happen.

is today's strip some kind of forshadowing?
How could the whole strip end just from the breakup of a couple that hasn't even been around long?
just leave them alone, they are exaggerating because if that was the case then I don't want to know how many cases of suicides happened after the Grapenut never happened, specially the part when Grape broke Peanut's heart.

I doubt they take things as seriously as they say they do, it's just they don't appreciate drama.

Yea, like they were a mated couple busy being a mated couple and the usual associated magic happened, as opposed to they were specifically trying for the magic after waiting for a moment in their life when they might be more situated financially or living situation wise.

I won't go into typical canid matings, but it can get messy. That they (hopefully) aren't related and don't have to hunt just to survive gives them substantial better footing over any healthy wild canid family. :)

Also, I finally see what was meant by Santa in the window, and definitely looking forward to a story featuring the snake!

BECAUSE HOUEPETS! IS THE WORLD.
Besides that, it's just because people would suddenly get all questioning of their relationships and then we have ... dun dun dun~ Relationship issues EVERYWHERE.

WHOA HO HO there, Slick. Who said that I hated drama? I was upset that King and Bailey had to fight, yeah, but that doesn't mean that I hate drama with a fiery passion. I know that they'll make up and their relationship will go back to normal, but there's always that "what if" situation.

Well, here we go. Another Grape and Peanut moment, like with Imaginate 2, or whatever it was when they had that talk.

I see the humans are liking the wolves now. This party is looking like a success!

Ouch, that's awkward. Fido, you're gonna have to make sure King doesn't tell anyone.
Though Fox is really the only one he'd tell.

Aren't they on The Wolf's properly which King is staying on? If so, asking him to get out is just rude. Though it's actually interesting to see Fido get extremely defensive towards Sabrina.

Awkward situation is humorous when you consider how hard King tried avoiding getting on the bad side of the K-9 squad and this may somehow make him on Fido's priority #1 list, though Sabrina would have something to say about that. The question i wonder is if this is going to be a plot significance in the future?

And it seems Maxwell's ear problem didn't stop Sabrina from decorating her own ear :)
