Dang King, can't you see she doesn't feel like talking about it?

Well I guess you can now. And so can Bino, out of his black eyes 8-)

Yeah. Just think about that, King. Think for a minute just how small you are. If that were you, you would've flown twice as far.

(Though I'm curious just how far Bailey actually knocked Bino. The little face in the corner with a line drawn towards the bottom of the panel indicates that he just fell over and is right in front of King and Bailey, but their eyes are staring way off in the distance as if he literally went flying.)

the way I see it, neither of them are looking at Bino. they're just staring straight forward at nothing.

Bailey for Good Ol' Dogs Club President. She'd fit right in, since injuring Bino isn't against the rules.

I can't help but want an alternate reality to split off right at panel 4, so panel 5 has king saying "... I love you?" and panel 6 they're snuggling. Ahwell, at least now we know one of Bailey's secret powers - she can dog-cone you in an instant. :)

Karlos wrote:She still has red eyes. That means she's Great Kitsune's avatar!
No, she's a member from the kuruta clan! (anime freak detected, nahh just kidding XD)

By the way, in the previous strip Bailey looks like she was on Gear Second in the last panel, I laughed really high when I realized of this

gomu gomu no pistol! (and Bino fly away from there with a punch)

Worse scenario: Pete starts taunting King after Bailey left.
Even Worse Scenario: Bino wakes up in time to enjoy the scene.
Really Worse Scenario: Fox gives King a piece of his mind.
Totally Worse Scenario: Duchess wants to comfort King.
Absolutely Worse Scenario: King makes his wish to become human and throw his dog life behind his back...and gets his wish!

Pete wouldn't taunt, he'd use the situation to get King as his avatar.
valerio wrote:Even Worse Scenario: Bino wakes up in time to enjoy the scene.
This one's more likely. Then somehow, King punches Bino harder than Bailey did.
valerio wrote:Really Worse Scenario: Fox gives King a piece of his mind.
also likely.
valerio wrote:Totally Worse Scenario: Duchess wants to comfort King.
Duchess, the love whip won't help this situation.
valerio wrote:Absolutely Worse Scenario: King makes his wish to become human and throw his dog life behind his back...and gets his wish!
not likely. Rick is planning to make the game less prevalent in the comic, but I doubt he plans to get rid of one of his most popular characters.

Along with that he said that he wanted to get the Cosmic stuff to a stable point by the end of this arc. ("I need to find a point of stability in that plot and then stay there for a while, so that I can reassert what the comic started out being--and I hope I can do that in this upcoming Christmas arc") So, unless that plan has changed since then or I'm misunderstanding it and he means this arc is only meant to reassert what the comic started out being; and not to stabilize the Cosmic stuff, I think that Pete is going to be getting an Avatar rather soon, likely by the end of this arc, if not soon after this.

And then adopts Bailey to make sure she has a good home, with her unaware of who her new owner actually is? It'd reach a whole new level of awkward, and sorta end their story to some degree, but almost makes sense on some level.

The more I see them bicker, the more I'm convinced a particular blue beastie is behind Bailey's move.

Oh, you people. :(

From what I know so far, I am wondering how the cosmic stuff will figure in here, if that is what was intended (hint: I'd like to know if not. No sense in building false hope), because I've heard that at in least two instances thus far, we've been subtly beaten over the head with the fact that KING WAS A HUMAN ONCE. You don't bring that up for nothing. :P

For reasons that I hopefully won't be reveling until Christmas, I got thinking about where this arc might go. And I think I may be pretty close to what happens. (For my sanity I hope so.)

Oh god, right after I finished typing that a new possibility for the ending came into my head. And then another one after that. Someone please help.
