 Re: current comic
Woo Newbie Post. Brihiii~
Lets see, Christmas comic first then? Think everyone said everything I was going to say on that already hahaha. New characters, and evil fathers spookey. My Drama alarm is blaring....
And now we have another comic (Dec-29th).. introducing two more characters (Ok more then two.. but are we really going to count the Mr BigglesWorths up?). Gag characters I'd say, might not be the center stage cats people were hoping for? Though I was happy with the four we had heh.
Ah well! Panels 3-4 made me laugh easily. Don't suppose there's a reference I'm missing from Jasper?
Edit:One more thing. Am I the only one who finds Peanuts reading habits odd? I started the 'Song of ice and fire' series recently loving it thus far of course; But the series has plenty of nasty things in it that doesn't strike me as 'Poor Naive doggy' material.

And right behind Joey is.. Peanut in his cat suit! well I think that'd be hilarious though knowing Peanut he wouldn't be able to maintain the disguise well.

Hmmm, you'd think the other cats would notice that Joey doesn't have any whiskers. Then again, it took me a while before I found out that all the cats have whiskers

Well, not as long as any of the other cats in this comic. You get what I mean, don't be a silly willy

As much as we all know we want peanut and grape to be together by some crazy force that they can't control... *aherm*...
you gotta admit grape and max make a cute couple in today's comic.

 Re: current comic
I really can't see Grape with anyone really. Though if she ever does "end up" with someone then I would see Max as the most likely canidate.

 Re: current comic
Never really bought into this Grape+Peanut=OTP 4EVER WOOO! Logic going around here. Peanut having a childish crush on her? Sure that's perfectly reasonable. Grape liking him that way back? Just not working. He's like... like... an annoying little brother to her I guess? For her to love him that way just seems out of character, like some creepy fan-fiction or something. It doesn't help that she finds the whole 'catlover thing' freaking creepy (even if she is open minded enough to brush it off at this point) Max+Grape is a bit more reasonable. I agree with Jumplion on that little topic though: It's hard to imagine Grape with anyone. Her personality really doesn't encourage such lovely dovey actions. Though we all know Peanut would likely be muffins and cookies freaking jealous if it did happen. That said, they are still just dancing: think we're jumping the gun a bit here. They're a long way from tossing out wedding vows yet. Heck, the actual joke in this comic has mostly been over looked for the sake of something in the background hahaha. To the outdoor cats credit it is somewhat amusing, though there's certainly been better jokes. A bit fillerish maybe? Perhaps why it was mostly over looked. I wonder if we'll ever get to find out their names.... Last thoughts.. hm...how can I not approve of a cat with a fiddle? I mean really? That's about 20 cool points right there for free. His tag is even one!

 Re: current comic
Hah, I just realized, this comic is actually quite fitting since I just saw "Fiddler On the Roof". Very nice play/movie, some good Jewish humour in there.

 Re: current comic
Okay so commenting on some of the comics I missed. |B I kind of see Grape as someone who must abstain from all relationship or a part of my heart will die. Well not really. But she certainly seems to me as someone who is very hard to get to like you that way, though. Er. Not sure what I'm trying to say, to be honest, but I know she's not going to get a boyfriend any time soon. I only really like P&G for the sake of Peanut. I figure Peanut likes her only platonically anyway. After all. He thought she was a guy up until that one comic thurr. o:
So, Jasper. As in, from Top Cat?
Oh and Fido looks like he has breasts in the Christmas Eve comic. That's all. c:

 Re: current comic
Darn it Peanut! He's suppose to be a JOURNALIST! Have you no genre sense at all? You could have at least made him a photographer or something.. but a math teacher...? It's almost as if... as if... he's trying to make his secret identity... ... original or something. Or... perhaps it's just a way or saying "HE'S REALLY SMART TOO! LIKE BATMAN! AND STRONG" ... Spot is a Mary freaking Sue...

 Re: current comic
I've really enjoyed the current arc. (If I ever get my Ph.D., I'll use that "Your homework is none!" line whenever possible.)
So, how will the situation be resolved? Spot, being impervious to bullets, is unlikely to be injured (assuming Peanut's comic will continue uninterrupted) by the villains.
Assuming he follows standard superhero conventions, everything will be all right in the end. Of course, we're talking about Peanut so it could get interesting before the story's resolved. And then there's the possibility that we'll never know, if Peanut has to run off and do something else.

I'm just glad I wasn't drinking anything upon the cutting back to Grape and Peanut in the last comic for the sake of my keyboard and monitor. Seriously, the cutting back to the regular reality with no warning made it for me.

 Re: current comic
I assume it's because she was at a shelter as a kitten, andw asn't owned by Mr and Mrs Sandwhich at the time, so she had a different name before they took her in.
I love the wide variety of Grape's expressions in this comic, especially when she suddenhly stops in panel 2, that expression was funny XD. And panel 4, embarressed Grape is cute.
