I was a hardcore Chrono Trigger fan. Beat the game numerous times to see al lthe endings, but i have YET to remember Gaspar's name still XD

The Gurus for the most part were names i had trouble memorizing.

!!! That's my favorite game! And also, it's a funny comic. I liked it.

Although I still don't see where Rick is going with this story arc.... I wonder what will happen to Joel in the end. Also, if his name was Duke, he'd wear a dice as his ID-tag, just like Duke Devlin from Yu-Gi-Oh!

If his name were Duke, i would presume his tag would be A King's Crown, since Duke is another name for King. I would however love it to be comically be The General Lee too though!

No matter how this goes...this is all gonna end up sappy, I know it. It's December. The spirit of the season has doomed this arc from the start. Heck it's called "It's a Dog's Wonderful" life and everything. At the most, this is gonna be a "personal development journey" with the fun quirks along the way.

And by "quirks"...well, that opens the book up to any possibility, does it? Sappiness shall prevail though.

Carbon dioxide (again, that will not probably cause cough)? Residual particles from energy burst? Something completely else? Is it poisonous? It must be some kind of small solid particles in the hair, since it causes irritation of respiration system, or possibly non-solid particles (liquid) of some irritative chemical compound.

Actually, Gaspar is one of the three wise men (Bible reference). The name of the three gurus are completely different in the original (Japanese) Chrono Trigger, but for the English translation, they did take the names of the three wise men, and named the gurus Melchior, Belthasar and Gaspar.

I don't condone the act of spouting random nonsense (so I'm hating myself now) and Valerio even told me once "do not over analyze this comic"... but I was just struck with the strangest thought relating to this comic. I can't really grasp it fully, so I will now try my best to put it down coherently.

Pete has the power to turn people into animals, right? Therefore I am willing to believe he could do that vice versa, or perhaps other things as well. I seriously doubt it would even happen now or ever, but with the application of magic now prominent in this world I simply had to wonder... (This is the weird thought, be careful now) What if Peanut somehow came in contact with this magic, and somehow, reading his desires...(desires?)

It's definitely possible, and something i'm sure Rick would probably think of someday. I can see a scenario like this happening in the Housepets world to be honest.

However, now that it's been said, Rick may have someone else in mind instead =3

My mind seems to associate the two, sappiness and silliness, in the same column for some reason... I blame the soap operas my mum watched as I grew up.
