Arc #63 Temple Crashers

Post by IceKitsune »

Well this is going to be good and we know exactly where the temples were from. And likely where Tarot comes from depending on how and when Dragon picked her as an Avatar.

The same way David Xanatos put a entire (I think it was the whole thing its been a really long time since I watched Gargoyles) Scottish Castle on top of his Skyscraper in the middle of New York City.

Yes, the 19th Century version of the Bridge was rebuilt in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, but I don't think that it uses every brick from the original just most of them.

I sense the return of Karishad. And Thomas somehow bumping into Karishad, despite being all the way in a desert region. (Totally not Egypt)

This should be interesting will Tarot (or in this case Dragon more likely) tell them whats really going on, lie to them about it or find some way to make them stay away? Hmmmm this is going to get very interesting. And It appears other Psychics know about this stuff and don’t like it at all.

If Keene is not being paranoid Steward might also know more about what is happening and might be helping out the Nerds in some way, interesting. Though again he could have other motives that have nothing to do with the Nerds.

Tarot will find some way to make the excavation fail. and if Karishad is still involved, that shouldn't be too hard.

The thing is if she over does that you have a huge possibility of Keene going to another Psychic and getting more out of them. So that would only work if she also attempts to keep them away afterwords.

but Keene just described the reaction of other psychics. any psychic that would be a threat to the secrecy would run screaming.

I think its a little unlikely that they wouldn't be able to find at least one other psychic that would be brave enough to go in there. Really that brings me to the thing that interests me more then anything in the strip; why the other Psychic was so afraid of the Dragon and Gryphon symbols and therefore the Temple.

It's most likely because they ain't from Babylon Garden which is where the majority of the game that the celestial beings are having their game at. Outside the local area, psychics probably have different news about what the symbol actually means. They probably see it for example as the return of real-life Dragons and Gryphons bent on destroying the world while the locals see it as a ancient worshipping temple.

Ah, ok. I went the more direct way and commented "Forget Oceans Two, Rick? Surely you Beau Geste." Less subtle I admit, but it gets the job done.

I wonder how much of this Dungeons and Dragons stuff did Sabrina learn from Fido? She doesn't strike me as that type, but then again, most pets seem to be familiar with the series!

Get Keys included, and they could have a possible duo of Gypsy cats with a Bard Ferret to make Sabrina one heck of a Mage. That is, if my D&D knowledge is correct on this and the classes exist and that Sabrina can benefit from al three of them. Gypsy appears to be a fan-made class for D&D from what google tells me. >.>

Keene, apparently.

What about Joey, Lester and their Creepy Friends? They would seem to be naturals for this type of thing.
