I nominate
Urinetown as the next Imaginate material.
I imagine that Pea would support this.
I suggest Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is pretty much a stock reference at this point. It might as well be A Christmas Carol .

Yes because that wouldn't be shameless self-promotion. :p
Also there could potentially be the awkward moment when Rick realizes his Housepets! versions of those stories are better than the originals.

I cast my vote for Sound of Music, with the Bigglesworths as the children.... they switch out every now and then to keep the number right.

I am absolutely loving this arc. Made me watch the film version of Guys and Dolls, a great musical (who doesn't love Frank Sinatra). Rick is hitting all the right bits.
And you are all fools. The next Imaginate! arc should be Blazing Saddles.

Uh oh... I just realized something...
Let's Imaginate a RPG. Of course, everyone would probably go against it, but then you got Spirit Dragon and her nerdiness lurking behind the scenes X3

Have the pets act out a session of D&D? Sounds interesting, Joey could get involved in that.

I love the alt. text. Da Papes was a nice one too...
Peanuts dialogue in the last panel was just great. Made me snicker.

Peanut looks so sophisticated reading da papes.
and scantily clad indeed. She's not even wearing pants... I think. I can't see her lower half.

Sooooo tempted to watch the original act, but i promised myself after the arc is over =3
If only Peanut had a chair in the first panel. He would so much look like Archie Bunker right now, which even convinced me he could do.
I find it cute that Tarot goes back to her usual posture in the final panel. It's like anytime the big news has to be announced, she has to do it in the most respectable way <3 ...but five litters... that would be too much cute even for this comic!

I suppose the cat-ear headband is a part of the scantily-clad off-burlesque dancer uniform?

Considering she's a dancer, i knew they were cat ears!
But the idea of Tarot dressing up as a cat is very humorous. much more than dressing up as a rabbit @_@
