Oh snap. :O And i was really certain a rabbit pushing the button that woke Pete up was a good excuse!

Well, now we know that both Grape and Peanut were important pieces to this game in some way. can't wait for more details in the future! In the meantime though, i'm guessing it has something to do with how much Grape trusts Pete.

So that makes me wonder more what would happen to people that have no clue what's going on like Fox or Max? Although i don't believe Grape has a leverage other than she's a cool cat, if she did have a leverage, would that affect the way others treat her in the future? i'm anxious to find out.

Peanut and Grape are actually brother and sister by blood. And Pete is their father.

that's because you're still using the 3.5 ruleset instead of 4th edition

duh

well 4.0 turned out to be a bust, so he's made alterations to 3.5.

But its your comic why care that much about what we think? I mean giving the fans what they want is good and all but why let them stop you from writing parts of the story when you think they should be done?

see, not doing what you want is pandering to the fans. Do whatever you want with the comic that makes sense to you.

I'm sure Rick knows better to do this!

Rick can take suggestions. We have good suggestions here and there, but more than anything I would flat-out agree that despite our complaints at times, we really don't want Rick to change anything that he had his mind set to.

I enjoy them a lot as well. Though I enjoy all types of arcs anyway, but I would have to say they are really high up on my favorite kinds list.

No, he's using Pathfinder!

Er - back to the comic. This is going to be interesting. I can't help but wonder if Bino and Sasha are going to be competing as well, because if they do all sorts of shenanigans are likely to occur.

I certainly would like to see that whole thing played out sometime soon. And you can't please everyone, Rick. At least not all the time. I of course fit in to that category.

EDIT: Rick, out of curiosity, is this arc part of that really great idea you had in November?

No, I think she is against pets acting like humans, she even said feminism is for humans.

Shame on you, Rick! Don't you know that a line like King's last in the last panel can get people thinking about things that are above this comic's rating? :P Didn't you read the rules of this forum?

Duchess is quite the practical female dog, huh? Very anti pets acting like humans.

King's face in the last panel is now my favorite King face.

I love that last line!

Me neither. Also I'm a human and maybe a girl and she's a dog. That'd be weird.

It looked like they were arguing viewpoints and their pros and cons to me, but she could be really preachy and did not think about why he doesn't know how to be a 'dog'.

If the matter were as cut-and-dried as Duchess makes it out to be, why are there so many boyfriends and girlfriends among the cast?

Duchess has a really different view of the world then most of the cast it seems. I wonder why? Does it have to do with her owners or just her?

I don't presume that Duchess is someone's avatar, although that would be a neat twist, and it would explain why she talked to King the way she did....

Actually I think it might be less that she doesn't date and more like as I said in the comments: She dates, uses and then dump once finished with; Repeat when bored. She just doesn't care about the people she dates really.

If Duchess is a show dog, then her owner would be selecting who she is going to have puppies with, not her.

Also I don't really understand her last line.
