I would guess that Sabrina has them or made him take them off, because she likes him better with out them. Luceretia,Zach,Fido, and Res is the order I like them in from most to least.

I like these. :3 I don't like them as much as the last few, but they're still great.

Zach, Fido, Res, and then Lucretia would be my favorites. Zach's face is just priceless! :D

I always love all of the Valentine's Cards though. Always a treat.

Zach got my vote followed by Res, but Fido's is humorous. <3 And Lucrecia?

"Mom! There's a wolf on my card! And i think she's trying to eat me!"
Sinder wrote:that dog is a darned liar
Nonsense. That black cat told me he was the sweetest thing!

To answer the alt-text, Sabrina's probably got 'em off-screen. Probably looking a little something like this.

But with sunglasses.

I picture her taking a picture of Fido the way he is in this comic.

So Fido sneaking his way into your avatar didn't break the tie? :P

Speaking of, every time I look at Fido in the new strip, I keep picturing Linus from A Charlie Brown Christmas. After Lucy threatens him to get him to memorize his lines. The "Not only is Christmas getting too commercial; it's getting too dangerous." face. Sans blush, of course. :D

From those 2012 cards, this time Fido is my favorite :)

why do you think Fido has a weird black ring around his eye

also i love how Res is the only one of the whole collection that's holding a box of chocolates

It's the outline of his brown spot. It does look a bit odd since it's not affected by the blush, yet the brown part is.

Poor Zach. Romance is just another source of terror for him.

Here's hoping he finds the right special someone.

And Fido shouldn't have to hide his love! The only person who would disapprove would be Bino, and no one listens to him for long.

Ooo, Rick changed the art on the first Valentine's card! <3

Now We have two versions of Peanut/Grape/Sasha/Max!

I wonder if we'll have an arc sometime soon with Res being shown around the neighborhood

Fido's looking reflective today, even more so than usual

"Stop dating my brother" is still my favorite, but I think this year's batch is the strongest overall out of the four.

Also: valentine Max is the bestest smile Max can give and I will distribute it somehow.

Depending on what happens in the future, he may also be a coward. What does he love more, I wonder: Sabrina, or his fame? :? Just pointing this out here, someone brought it up in the comic comments.

Not the ones I expected this year! Great! Next year: Pairing edition Valentines! Miles & Lucretia, Max & Grape, etc. Alternatively:

Pete: "I can steal your heart away........... and your mind........... and your soul........ "
Keene: "I made you a pool full of Jello, but I swam in it."

Considering that Rick has said hes very weak willed when it comes to his Girlfriend its very likely he would side with Sabrina. Really I personally think that the whole Hating Cat lover thing is most likely not going to be a wide spread as we think it is. I mean out side of Grape (originally), Bino, Fox (and I have a feeling Fox cares a lot less about it then Bino, or at least would be quicker to change his mind then anyone else) and Rex, I don't remember anyone mentioning it negatively or at all really. You could say that Max is ok with it after him letting Joey in the Dog side during the Water Balloon War; but that could be Max just thinking of Joey as not a threat because of it and not really giving his opinion on it one way or another.

Actually, since PhoenixAsper mentioned it, it is actually possible for Rick to make four valentine cards out of the four celestial animals we seen so far: Spirit Dragon, Pete, Kitsune and Cerberus.

Although knowing them, their version of Valentine's day is either a thousand year event~ *Looks at Pete and Cerberus* ~ >_> or a shipping game gone extreme.

I was always of the opinion that Fido never liked the adulations of the masses. he shunned them mostly. Kind of forced into it, so I think he'd side with Sabrina before fame. He just has this image of a good dog that he tries to follow, and hi relationship with Sabrina kind of conflicts with what he thinks a good dog should be. Pretty sure Bino has that same image, and that may be where he gets all of these misguided views from...
